Yan Yang woke up at six in the morning.

He seemed to remember someone saying that memory and Inner Focus were at their best in the morning, so he had to seize the time and make good use of it.

Entei was gone again. It was hard to imagine just how early he got up every day.

It was one thing not to see Entei when he usually woke up after seven, but waking up at six and still not seeing him genuinely surprised Yan Yang.

Wasn't that way too early?

Yan Yang wondered whether he should ask Entei to wake him up whenever he got up.

After thinking it over, he decided against it. He seemed to have a slight habit of sleeping in. Unless he woke naturally, being roused by something or someone might leave him a little grumpy.

Thankfully, it was not too serious. It would not be good for the day to begin with him puffing up in anger.

Litleo was still asleep, snoring softly, with a bubble forming at his nose. He looked like he was sleeping quite soundly.

Yan Yang did not have the heart to disturb him. Disturbing someone's sweet dreams for no reason was asking to be struck by thunder.

Yan Yang quietly got up and went outside.

This was his first time seeing the forest at six in the morning.

Dawn was just breaking, and the first ray of sunlight gently caressed the earth. The air was filled with the fresh scent of soil and green leaves, damp and cool, mixed with the faint fragrance left behind by evaporating dew.

The trees towered into the clouds, turning lush green once more. Crystal-clear droplets still clung to the leaves, glimmering in the faint morning light like pearls set amid the emerald foliage.
