After leaving the World Tree, Pikachu and Togepi continued north, following Mew's guidance.

Mew had once told them that if they kept heading north, they would reach a brand-new region called the Sinnoh Region.

After roughly half a month of travel, they finally set foot on this unfamiliar land at dusk one day.

The journey over the past half month had not been easy. The completely unfamiliar environment, along with the untamed Pokémon living here, had brought no small number of challenges.

The only fortunate thing was that this vast area seemed to bear no traces of human activity. It appeared that the reach of human civilization had yet to expand this far.

Perhaps because they had long been isolated from human influence, the Pokémon here possessed particularly strong fighting spirits.

With no interaction with outside species, the competition and territorial instincts within Pokémon groups stood out all the more as they sought to vent their excessive energy.

Pikachu and Togepi often encountered wild Pokémon that deliberately provoked them, or found themselves in confrontations after accidentally entering territory claimed by another Pokémon.

Fortunately, even though these Pokémon were wilder, they did not seem inclined to deal deadly blows to the two little ones who looked so "frail."

Moreover, they had already experienced plenty of adventures and seen greater storms. They were able to handle such situations calmly, and no major problems had arisen so far.

They crossed barren lands and endless forests before finally entering an even broader, vibrant woodland.

The Pokémon here seemed much friendlier.

Pikachu and Togepi also vaguely noticed subtle traces left behind by humans.

After some initial exchanges with several friendly local Pokémon, Pikachu felt that they could try asking for directions—after all, most of the other Pokémon they had encountered along the way did not
