The team reached the gate’s defenses, where the Centurion sent most of his men off after the women and kept watch with only a few soldiers.

  • Katherine, Pearl, Anna, Caroline, Night Blade, Meg, Dream Demon, and Mei Wa slipped past the Great Lighthouse and signaled that they had reached the wall.
  • Kirk’s team crept toward Alexandria under Sheva’s Yeti Camouflage and found thousands of Nile Crocodiles feeding on civilians Pompey had thrown from the wall.

Ch. 494Pursuit

Kirk pursued Pompey after Caesar’s forces took Alexandria, fighting his way aboard Pompey’s ship and crashing it into the Great Lighthouse. He followed Pompey inside, where the chapter ended with Kirk realizing Pompey had turned the lighthouse beam toward the sea.

  • Caesar’s cavalry routed Pompey’s legion, and Kirk spotted Pompey escaping Alexandria by ship.
  • Kirk pursued Pompey down the Nile, leaped aboard his flagship, and fought through the soldiers.

Kirk confronted Pompey atop the Great Lighthouse while a spatial scan sought a way to kill the virus who had survived before. Kirk overwhelmed Pompey’s guards, but Pompey’s Mind Control left him near death just as the scan completed and a blood-red storm gathered overhead.

  • Kirk killed a Legion Commander who was signaling Pompey’s fleet, then climbed the outside of the Great Lighthouse to reach Pompey.
  • Pompey stalled Kirk with a story about his belt, which held Neptune’s power to create whirlpools, while Kirk scanned his virus type.
  • Kirk killed another Legion Commander and hurled guards from the lighthouse as he fought Pompey’s men.
  • Pompey used Mind Control to slow Kirk and let the guards surround him, driving his Health Points below 200.
  • The spatial scan reached 100%, and a gale, a blood-red vortex, and enormous lightning bolts appeared above the Great Lighthouse.

Ch. 496The Mind

Kirk used the Great Lighthouse’s mirrors to turn Pompey’s Mind Control against him and blind the guards while buying time for the dimension’s energy to gather. As the chapter ended, Kirk had thrown Pompey’s forces from the tower, while Cleopatra and Kirk’s companions watched the lighthouse blaze from afar.

  • Kirk remembered Wang Han’s advice about reflecting Mind Control and drew Pompey’s control beam toward a lighthouse mirror.
  • The reflected beam struck Pompey, leaving him mentally dazed, while Kirk leaped from the tower and adjusted its seven mirrors.
  • Kirk used [Flame of the Sun God] and the mirrors to flood the lighthouse with light, blinding Pompey’s charging guards.

Ch. 497Going Too Far

Kirk battled Pompey atop the Great Lighthouse, but Pompey took control of Kirk and kicked him from the tower. Before Kirk hit the ground, a red lightning strike erased Pompey and then destroyed the lighthouse, leaving Kirk still falling.

  • Kirk wounded Pompey's body and used the mirrors in the Great Lighthouse to turn Pompey's Mind Control against him.
  • Pompey realized Kirk had likely killed Grebo with the red lightning and fled toward the edge of the tower.
  • Kirk leaped after Pompey, hooked him with Wolverine's Claws, and hauled him back onto the platform, but Pompey used Mind Control to take over Kirk's body and kick him off the lighthouse.
  • Cleopatra prayed for Kirk's life, while Wang Han ordered the others to recover his body so he could be revived.
  • A massive red lightning bolt erased Pompey, then struck the Great Lighthouse and crumbled it as Kirk continued falling.

Ch. 498Sea God

Kirk survived Pompey's death and the destruction of the Great Lighthouse, then recovered Pompey's Sea God belt and earned rewards for defeating the space virus and killing Pompey. Back in Alexandria, Cleopatra revealed she would be crowned Female Pharaoh, but Kirk delayed her coronation by seducing her in Amun God Hall, leaving Caesar waiting at the Sun Altar.

  • Pompey's death freed Kirk from his control, and Kirk used Wolverine's Claws and teleportation to escape as the Great Lighthouse collapsed and Pompey's nearby fleet sank.
  • Kirk reunited with Wang Han, Little Fatty, and Sheva among the ruins, where he found Pompey's ashes and the [Tide of the Sea God] belt.

  • The High Priest of Amun God explained Cleopatra’s absence by claiming she was praying, while he found Kirk and Cleopatra together inside the temple and ordered everyone to leave them undisturbed.
  • Cleopatra arrived late and was formally crowned Cleopatra VII, while Caesar privately resolved to make Egypt a Roman province when he had recovered his strength.

  • Wang Han explained the history of the pyramids as the team reached the Giza Plateau, where Kirk revealed that Cleopatra had directed him to the Pyramid of Khufu and its hidden wealth.
  • Little Fatty spotted a suspicious figure near the pyramid, and Kirk and Little Fatty entered while Wang Han and Sheva stayed outside because intense magnetic interference disrupted magic.

  • Kirk and Little Fatty battled the Anubis guards, and Kirk killed their black-robed leader, but the guards kept reviving until Kirk found an Anubis Seal that temporarily suppressed them.
  • Kirk’s team forced open the Pharaoh’s Chamber and found treasures, then Little Green’s dragonfire revealed that the chamber’s floor and walls concealed vast quantities of gold bricks.
  • Kirk and Little Fatty calculated the fortune’s value and began filling their Space Marks with gold, while Kirk noticed the curse engraved on Pharaoh Khufu’s coffin.
