Standing in the subway car, Chen Wen put away his phone, ignored the occasional glances around him, and silently waited for the train to arrive while holding the gift box.
After getting off the subway, Chen Wen walked all the way to Intime Plaza. The moment he entered Lan'an Cafe, he spotted Jiang Qiuyi's familiar back at a nearby table and immediately headed over.
"Just focus on farming minions. I'll come help you gank people." A soft, adorable, childish voice drifted over from the table.
"It's my first time playing, okay? Don't blame me if I'm too bad." Jiang Qiuyi spoke cautiously. "Which skill should I take on this Luban?"
"Either one or two is fine. Beginners don't need to worry about that. Just remember to level your ultimate whenever you have it."
"Oh, okay."
"After he uses each skill, his basic attack gets stronger, but you can't touch the movement controls then, or it'll interrupt the basic attack."

By then, Chen Wen had reached the table and sat down across from the two women.
Jiang Qiuyi wore a white off-the-shoulder T-shirt with a black pleated skirt and beige heels.

She was a well-known food content creator and a talented PhD student who normally lived in Hangzhou.

"Introduce yourselves later. We've revived already." Jiang Qiuyi tugged Lin Meng again, then said while working her phone, "The bags on your right are mine. Remember to help me carry them later."
"Okay." Chen Wen sat there, declined the server's offer to order coffee, and only asked for a free glass of lemon water.
Seeing the two women absorbed in their game, Chen Wen considered it for a moment and put the gift box into Jiang Qiuyi's bag, planning to take it out when they ate.
He took a sip of the lemon water the server quickly brought over, declined the server's offer of complimentary fruit again, and quietly waited for Jiang Qiuyi and Lin Meng to finish their game.
"Mengmeng, Mengmeng! Save me, save me! That jumpy guy is hitting me again!" Jiang Qiuyi frantically tapped the screen, trying to save little Luban's life, but in the end could only watch helplessly as her screen turned gray.
"Don't worry, don't worry. We're still ahead. Their Han Xin is pretty good, but he keeps ganking you. This is called racing horses with Tian Ji." Lin Meng comforted her.
In the end, they lost the match.
Lin Meng sighed, then consoled herself. "At least it was only a casual match."
Jiang Qiuyi angrily put away her phone. "Hmph! What a stupid game. I'm never playing again! Come on, let's eat!"
Pulling Lin Meng to her feet, Jiang Qiuyi ran over to Chen Wen and affectionately wrapped herself around his arm. "Let's chat while we walk."
"Ew~" Lin Meng waved a hand in front of her nose with a disgusted expression. "Come on, I'll take you to the restaurant."
Chen Wen carried several of Jiang Qiuyi's shopping bags in his left hand, while Jiang Qiuyi held his right.
Meanwhile, Lin Meng could only carry bags in both hands as she walked beside Jiang Qiuyi, looking as though she were radiating a bright light from head to toe.
"I'm starting to regret this..." Lin Meng glanced at the bags in Chen Wen's hand. "I shouldn't have agreed to let you bring your boyfriend."
"Hehe." Jiang Qiuyi tilted her head and leaned against Chen Wen's arm. "Now you know the benefits of having a boyfriend, right~"
"Hmph." Lin Meng turned her head away. "I live a perfectly wonderful life on my own. I don't want to share it with some stinky man."
"You won't know whether he's stinky until you try him." Jiang Qiuyi smiled smugly, rose onto her tiptoes, and pecked Chen Wen on the face. "Mwah~"
"Ew~ So gross~" Lin Meng's words dripped with sourness.
Chen Wen froze after being kissed. He hadn't even had time to savor the softness and warmth of his girlfriend's lips before it was over.
Now, he only felt a small patch of his face turn cool and damp. He looked at both his occupied hands, then could only say, "There's drool. Wipe it off for me."
"Hey!" Jiang Qiuyi's face turned red with embarrassment.
"Hahahahaha!" Lin Meng couldn't stop herself from laughing. She suddenly felt that although Jiang Qiuyi's boyfriend was quiet and reserved, he could be pretty interesting sometimes.
On the way to Garden Restaurant, with Jiang Qiuyi serving as the bridge between them, Chen Wen and Lin Meng quickly became acquainted.
Still, it was mainly Jiang Qiuyi and Lin Meng chatting, with Chen Wen occasionally replying a sentence or two.

"Give it a rest." Lin Meng rolled her eyes. "Waiting for me to get a boyfriend is less reliable than waiting for you two to get married."
At the mention of marriage, Jiang Qiuyi's little face immediately reddened. "What are you talking about~ We're still in school."
"That's only a year or two away." Lin Meng smiled and looked at Chen Wen beside them. "What would you think if, after graduation, she asked you to marry Qiuyi?"
Chen Wen hadn't expected the topic to land on him. After pausing in surprise, he asked carefully, "What if she wants to go to graduate school?"
