Gilgamesh still wore an expression that said he was the greatest man in the world. Arrogantly, he declared,
"This question is utterly meaningless. I have no need to obtain the Holy Grail."
As he spoke, Gilgamesh sighed with exasperation.
"It should have been mine to begin with. In fact, every treasure in the world originated from my collection. The Holy Grail merely slipped out of my treasury, but I am still its rightful owner."
Watching Gilgamesh act so pleased with himself, a phrase Shinji had mentioned flashed through Artoria's mind: Versailles literature.

As Iskandar spoke, he secretly took a couple more sips of the divine wine. It tasted so good. If he didn't drink more now, there'd be none left later.
"Come to think of it, there can only be one king more arrogant than I, Iskandar."

Artoria barely managed to suppress the urge to roll her eyes.
Iskandar's words seemed to praise Gilgamesh, but in reality, he was placing himself above every other king throughout history.
So this so-called Holy Grail discussion is just bragging? Why didn't Master say so from the start?
