"If the screenings after tomorrow also maintain this attendance rate," the investigator said proudly to the reporter, "Fate/Zero will set a new box-office record."

"I don't think it'll surpass Spirited Away," the reporter said, offering her opinion.

"But it'll definitely do better than other live-action films." The investigator spread his hands and smiled. "This is Fate, after all."

Thinking of the box-office miracle FSN had created the previous year, the reporter nodded.

Just then, footsteps sounded.

Knowing the audience was coming out, the reporter immediately stood up and motioned for her cameraman to head toward the exit.

The investigator hurried over as well, questionnaire in hand.

The audience at an advance screening consisted of die-hard fans of the series, so their feedback was very important. If they liked it, that would at least show that Fate/Zero had secured its core audience.

But to their surprise, the first people to come out weren't the young viewers who made up the vast majority of the audience. Instead, it was a group of middle-aged and elderly men.

The reporter broke into a delighted smile. She recognized who they were.

She hurried over. "Hello, Mr. Kouichi Ippei. I'm a reporter with TBS."
