Uchiha Mai confronted Kaido on Onigashima, defeated him with the Phoenix Illusion Demon Fist, and sealed his body for Orochimaru's experiments. The Beasts Pirates were left subdued by Mai's reanimated Kage and their allies.

• Konan helped Might Guy up after the miners survived the attack.
• Uchiha Mai summoned the First, Second, and Third Raikage and the Third Kazekage, then sent them to fight alongside Shizune and Monet.
• Uchiha Mai challenged Kaido and promised to let the Beasts Pirates go if Kaido could injure him, while two Six Red Sun Formations enclosed Onigashima.
