A sandstorm was raging outside. No one wanted to go out and check what was happening.

"Where are they?" Mei Terumi asked coldly.

"You should ask where their bodies are."

Uchiha Mai corrected her. "I left them outside the Stone Tower, but there's a sandstorm blowing.

"I couldn't tell you where they've ended up now."

"Idiots."

Mei Terumi clenched her fists, furious at Kaguya Chengze for bringing this on himself.

Why did you have to provoke Uchiha Mai? You really got yourself killed this time.

Mei Terumi aimed to become Mizukage, and she had been appointed captain of Kirigakure's candidates for these Chunin Ninja Exams.

She had always kept the bigger picture in mind, whether she was stopping Kaguya Chengze from clashing with Uchiha Mai before the written exam or refraining from attacking him rashly yesterday.

She wanted as many Kirigakure candidates as possible to reach the final, individual round and bring honor to their village.
