Stone Forest.
Under the scorching sun, Mo Yan Yu leaned her plump back against an oval rock, her delicate eyebrows slightly furrowed as if pondering something.
Beside her, a plain-looking Mo Family attendant with a pockmarked face squinted, seemingly lost in thought.
Heavy, slightly disordered footsteps gradually approached from a distance.
Mo Yan Yu's long eyelashes fluttered, and she opened her eyes, coldly glancing at the rapidly approaching Qiang Sen. "What are you panicking about?" she snapped.
"They've appeared!" Qiang Sen said grimly. "Two women. According to the Dark Star Envoy's intel, they're the targets!"
Mo Yan Yu's beautiful eyes suddenly lit up, her expression turning icy. "Is that brat with them?"
"Doesn't seem like it..." Qiang Sen paused, then calmly added, "As long as we capture those two women, we'll definitely know where that brat is hiding."
"Has the message reached Third Uncle yet?"
"A Dark Star Envoy has already gone."
"In what direction?" Mo Yan Yu straightened her delicate body, slowly stretching her muscles. "Far from us? Or far from Third Uncle and the others?"
"A bit further from us. If nothing unexpected happens, Third Master and the others should be arriving soon," Qiang Sen replied.
"Oh, then there's no need to rush," Mo Yan Yu frowned and said to the pockmarked Mo Family attendant beside her, "Uncle Li, should we go over?"
"The people we're waiting for haven't shown up yet, so there's no need to rush," Li Han shook his head and smiled. "Third Master and the Dark Nether forces are covering that area, so there won't be any problems. This checkpoint is equally important, so we should continue guarding it. Our target is that brat. If he slips through this checkpoint, all our efforts will be in vain."
"You're right," Mo Yan Yu nodded, saying no more.
"Wuwuwu! Wuwuwu!"
Beside a rock shaped like a python, Mu Yu Die took out a silver bull horn and suddenly blew into it.
The sound of the horn rippled outwards like waves, spreading over a vast area.
In various parts of the stone forest, figures hidden in stone caves heard the horn and emerged one after another, rapidly converging towards Mu Yu Die's direction.
"Sister Lan, don't worry, someone will be here to meet us soon," Mu Yu Die smiled relaxedly. "Once we get there, we'll truly be safe and won't have to worry about the Dark Nether forces anymore."
"I hope so," Di Ya Lan forced a smile, still unable to stop thinking about Shi Yan. She sighed, "I hope he's alright..."
Figures suddenly appeared from the distance. Leading them was a Nether Moon Envoy of the Dark Nether. Beside him were Mo Chao Ge and Barnard, along with several Mo Family Martial Artists and a Nether Star Envoy of the Dark Nether.
"Miss Mu, we meet again," the Nether Moon Envoy's sinister gaze slithered over Mu Yu Die like a poisonous snake. "You're quite the escape artist, managing to get all the way here. Unfortunately, you still didn't make it into the Merchant Alliance, and you'll be taken back by me."
"Oh? Is that so?" Mu Yu Die smiled calmly, not showing any tension.
The Nether Moon Envoy frowned, a vague sense of unease growing within him. Mu Yu Die seemed too composed this time, unlike her usual self.
"Where is the brat who was with you?"
Mo Chao Ge walked over, glanced at the two women, and said rudely, "Tell me where that brat is, or I'll kill her first."
Mo Chao Ge pointed at Di Ya Lan.
"She's mine!" Barnard glared fiercely at Mo Chao Ge, his figure flashing like lightning as he swiftly moved beside Di Ya Lan, reaching out to grab her unceremoniously.
"Clang!"
A powerful zither melody suddenly rang out, piercing nerves like a sharp weapon.
Barnard's body trembled, and a look of pain flashed across his face. He hastily took a step back, staring at Mu Yu Die in horror.
Mu Yu Die, holding her ancient zither, had already sat down on the ground. A cold smile played on her lips as she looked at Barnard. "Want to try again?"
Barnard's mind felt as if it had been stabbed by steel needles, and he was suffering from a terrible headache. Hearing her words, his expression flickered between anger and fear, but he didn't dare step forward immediately.
"Impossible!"
The Nether Moon Envoy's face changed, and for the first time, panic appeared in his eyes. "It's only been a few months. Your Music Martial Soul shouldn't have recovered so quickly!"
He paused, then seemed to recall something and sneered, "I understand. You're forcibly activating your shattered meridians. You're seeking your own death!"
"Oh?" Mu Yu Die's expression was indifferent. "You can try. I know you have the cultivation of the Hundred Tribulations realm. However, before entering the Gloomy Forest, I used my Music Martial Soul to kill a Nether Moon Envoy with the same cultivation as you. You should remember, right?"
Her words caused not only the Nether Moon Envoy to hesitate but also Barnard and Mo Chao Ge to show a hint of panic, looking at her with disbelief.
"Envoy? Is... is this true?" Mo Chao Ge's mouth felt dry. He took a slight step back, signaling the Mo Family Martial Artists not to act rashly.
"If her Music Martial Soul were at its peak, it would indeed have that capability... but now? I don't believe it!" the Nether Moon Envoy scoffed.
"Heh heh, Envoy, then it's up to your skills," Mo Chao Ge retreated further, positioning himself in the center of the Mo Family Martial Artists, clearly indicating he wouldn't make the first move.
"Whoever attacks first, dies first," Mu Yu Die said coldly, then lowered her head, refusing to speak further.
Di Ya Lan stood beside her, her face vigilant, not daring to relax.
The situation suddenly reached a stalemate.
Although the Nether Moon Envoy was suspicious, he dared not act rashly.
Barnard and Mo Chao Ge, after learning that Mu Yu Die had the ability to kill Hundred Tribulations experts, suddenly became docile. They exchanged glances, seemingly urging the Nether Moon Envoy to make the first move and test Mu Yu Die's true strength.
Just then, figures emerged from the rocks in all directions.
A dashing figure instantly appeared beside Mu Yu Die. "Miss Mu, are you alright?" he asked softly.
With so many people in the venue, including the Nether Moon Envoy, Mo Chao Ge, and Barnard, who all possessed Hundred Tribulations cultivation, none of them saw how he appeared beside Mu Yu Die.
The person was like a phantom, suddenly appearing next to Mu Yu Die without a trace.
"Teleportation Martial Soul! Bei Ming Family!"
Mo Chao Ge's expression turned grim, and he couldn't help but exclaim.
"So it was you. I didn't realize it was someone from the Mo Family." The handsome young man who appeared beside Mu Yu Die said arrogantly and indifferently, "What? Are you looking to fight our Bei Ming Family?"
"I wouldn't dare."
Mo Chao Ge took a deep breath and immediately calmed down. He gave the young man a fawning smile. "So it's Third Young Master. No wonder Miss Mu was so fearless. Third Young Master, I didn't know Miss Mu was under your Bei Ming Family's protection. If I had known earlier, I wouldn't have come. Please forgive me, Third Young Master..."
Bei Ming Ce waved his hand impatiently. "If this has nothing to do with your Mo Family, then take your people and leave quickly. I need to deal with the Dark Nether people, so don't get involved."
As he spoke, Martial Artists wearing Bei Ming Family martial artist uniforms appeared one after another.
Among them, two old men, one fat and one thin, quietly stood beside him, their sinister eyes locking onto Mo Chao Ge and the Nether Moon Envoy respectively.
"Alright, I'll leave now." Mo Chao Ge said with a harmonious smile and turned to leave without another word.
When the Mo Family's Martial Artists realized that the newcomer was Bei Ming Ce, they all suddenly became obedient, lowered their heads, and quietly followed Mo Chao Ge away.
As for Barnard, seeing Mo Chao Ge leave, he didn't dare to stay any longer. He retreated and was about to disappear into the stone forest.
"Please help me kill this person, Third Young Master." Mu Yu Die gently plucked the strings of her zither.
Clang!
The zither music played again.
Barnard's body trembled violently, and his steps faltered. He almost lost his balance before quickly dodging behind a rock and fleeing for his life.
"Elder Yin, please handle this." Bei Ming Ce instructed calmly.
The thin old man standing behind him suddenly darted out like a phantom, disappearing in a flash.
Three seconds later, Barnard's spine-chilling scream echoed from the stone forest.
Five seconds later, the thin old man, whom Bei Ming Ce called Elder Yin, reappeared like a ghost beside Bei Ming Ce, standing there without saying a word.
