After sustained, rapid development, by Civilization Year 36,203, the Rune Civilization was qualified to advance into the core region of the Yin Feng Galaxy and contend for dominance over the galaxy.
At the height of its power, the Rune Civilization enjoyed abundant national strength and a high material standard of living for its citizens, which in turn gave rise to a flourishing culture.
A great many different ideologies began to emerge within the Rune Civilization.
Among them, a cult of unconventional imagery known as 'Cthulhu' quickly became popular among the younger generation, fueled by the rapid growth of the entertainment industry.
Once the number of adherents to the Cthulhu movement surpassed a certain threshold, abnormal events began to occur.
Within the Rune Civilization, more and more followers of the Cthulhu movement began exhibiting mental abnormalities.
These individuals commonly reported to those around them that they could sense Cthulhu's presence—not the abstract concept of the 'unconventional' that the Cthulhu movement referred to, but a real Cthulhu Beast with a distinctive appearance of its own!
