Jiraiya and Tsunade found an opening to use the Summoning Technique, bringing forth their Summoning Beasts to deal with those summoned by Animal Path.
Jiraiya summoned Gamabunta, Gamahiro, and Gamaken, the three current leaders of Mount Myōboku. All three possessed immense strength and enormous bodies.
Tsunade summoned part of the enormous body of the Slug Sage of Shikkotsu Forest.
Though it was only a part, it was still more than twice the size of the toads like Gamabunta. Moreover, as a part of the Slug Sage, it was also an extremely powerful fighter.
The four Summoning Beasts immediately stopped all of Animal Path's summons. In both strength and size, Animal Path's summons were outmatched by those of the Ninja Alliance.
Even the multiplying Hell Hound, a Summoning Beast capable of splitting apart, was of little use. The Slug Sage could split itself far more effectively.
The Fifth Mizukage, Mei Terumi, also began forming Hand Seals and attacked Deva Path Pain.
