Onyxia wiped her wet black hair with a bath towel and walked into the bedroom. The silk nightgown swayed gently with her elegant steps, glowing like pearls under the candlelight. When she saw the little figure of Bronze Dragon on the bed, Black Dragon Princess's steps suddenly stopped, and the bath towel in her hand fell to the ground with a "snap".
"Why are you here again? I have taken you in for a few days! Can you let me and Deren have a good sleep?" Her voice was as low as the thunder before the storm, and her golden vertical pupils shrank into a thin line.
Deren was huddled on the floor in the corner. After hearing this, he immediately sat up, like a primary school student being called upon by the teacher. "She said that since Dragonmaw Orc was put in a cage, she was afraid of sleeping alone." He scratched his head, and the top of his nightgown was hanging on one shoulder.
Chromie poked his head out of the bed at the right time, his big watery eyes shining innocently under the candlelight. "Let me sleep together~" she protracted her tone, like a coquettish child, "At most, Deren can think of some buoyancy."
"Fucking buoyancy?" Onyxia's eyebrows almost flew up. She strode to the bedside, each step leaving a steaming footprint on the floor. "How can you, a little dwarf, get buoyancy?" She leaned down, and the shadow completely enveloped Bronze Dragon in the form of Gnome. "I've let you sleep for three full days, now you're going too far, right?"
Deren quickly got up and stepped on the cold Stone Tablet barefoot. "She does have post-traumatic syndrome, as you know, she was locked in a cage."
Onyxia took a deep breath, her chest rose and fell violently, and the collar of her nightgown trembled slightly with her breathing. She closed her eyes and seemed to be counting to ten silently. When she opened her eyes again, her pupils had returned to their round shape.
"Sleep in the deepest part." She said through gritted teeth, each word seeming to be squeezed out from between her teeth. "If you dare to move, I will throw you back to Dragonmaw Caverns."
Chromie immediately cheered, rolled nimbly to the innermost side of the bed, and wrapped himself into a small golden cocoon, with only a pair of sparkling eyes exposed. Onyxia lay down heavily, the mattress groaned overwhelmed, and a few feathers floated out from the gaps in the pillow.
Deren cautiously walked to the bed. "Then me."
"On the bedside." Onyxia grabbed the front of his nightgown and dragged him onto the bed. "If you touch that little guy, I'll throw you into the Endless Sea." She looked Deren up and down.
Chromie laughed muffledly in the quilt, like a kitten that had stolen a fish. Deren sighed and reached out to extinguish the magic candlestick on the bedside. In the darkness, he felt the hot breath of Onyxia blowing on the back of his neck.
Soon after, Deren felt Onyxia's slender fingers, and the fingertips carried the unique temperature of Dragon Race. Her exhaled breath had a faint smell of sulfur. This made him fall asleep with peace of mind.
"The little dwarf is asleep." She whispered against Deren's ear, and her sharp canine teeth accidentally touched his ear lightly.
Deren turned his head slightly and heard Chromie's even breathing coming from the inside of the bed, occasionally mixed with a few small snores. "It seems that he is fast asleep," he replied softly, turning around to face Onyxia.
Just when the two were about to meet--
"Brother." A soft body suddenly came up from the end of the bed and accurately squeezed between the two of them, "I have a nightmare."
"Anna!" Onyxia's roar almost overturned the roof, and a cloud of black smoke spurted out from her nostrils, "Why are you everywhere!" Why is Sunwell's evolved ability used for infiltration?
Deren hurriedly touched the candlestick on the bedside and lit it with trembling fingers. Under the dim light, the blond girl was wearing a white nightgown, curling up in Deren's arms like a frightened deer, completely ignoring Black Dragon's murderous gaze.
"I dreamed that Sunwell was exhausted." Anveena buried his face in Deren's chest, his voice muffled, "There is darkness everywhere. I'm so scared."
Onyxia was about to have a seizure when the quilt suddenly started to squirm strangely. An elegant female voice came from deep in the quilt. "Sorry, I'm here to take Anna back. Huh? Where is this?"
Jaina's head emerged from the other end of the quilt. Princess of Lordaeron's usually meticulous bun was now in disarray. A few strands of blond hair were sticking up comically, resting on her delicate collarbones. She blinked, as if she was lost in the quilt, with a confused look on her face.
Deren's expression froze - you got lost under a quilt? You did it on purpose! Who would believe this excuse?! Onyxia's eyes began to condense with the light of dragon's breath, and black scales loomed from her cheeks.
At this moment, the whispers of Windrunner Sisters came from the rafters.
"Sister, this is not good, let's go back quickly." Vereesa's voice was unconvincing, even with a bit of expectation.
"What are you afraid of?" Sylvanas's voice carried the unique domineering tone of Ranger General, "If he dares to drive me away, I will go find Arthas and become Queen of the Banshees."
Deren was so excited that he almost rolled off the bed. "No! Please stay!" The terrifying scene of Sylvanas turning into Queen of the Banshees immediately appeared in his mind.
Sylvanas used the agility of Ranger General to complete a perfect armor removal action in the shadows. The leather armor, quiver and dagger fell neatly on the carpet in the room, and she herself disappeared from the room. Only the Cantonese-style wooden furniture made a dissatisfied creaking sound.
"Wow!" Deren exclaimed, trying to step back in a hurry, but bumped into Onyxia. Unexpectedly, Black Dragon Princess didn't get angry, but looked like he was watching a good show. "Let me see how you end up tonight?"
Vereesa was wringing her fingers tangledly beside the bed. The moonlight shined through the window on her long golden hair, reflecting a soft halo. "It seems that I should go find Arthas." She whispered with deliberate sadness in her voice. "My sister won't go, so I have to take my sister's place. I can also be Queen of the Banshees, right?"
Deren had a splitting headache and his temples were pounding. "You stay too!" He almost shouted.
The sadness on the little ranger's face disappeared in an instant, replaced by a cunning expression of a successful plot, and her pointed elf ears twitched twice unconsciously. She disappeared into the room as fast as her sister, leaving only a pile of armor, and the Cantonese-style wooden furniture meowed in protest again.
How many are there already? The poor Cantonese-style wooden furniture made an overwhelmed creaking sound, as if in protest of this absurd battle for the night. Deren now seemed to be locked in a sealed box somewhere, with pressure all over the place. He wanted to rush out, but he was afraid of this and that. He didn't know how to put his hands and feet - he would die!
He suddenly realized that something seemed wrong with everyone tonight.
