The Gryphons landed steadily on the ground. After several hours of flight, they had finally arrived in Theramore.
The salty sea breeze blew past, making Illidan's nose itch a little. Though he could not see the true scenery around him, his soul vision showed people coming and going everywhere, a bustling sight that clashed with his preconceived impressions.
"There are so many people!" Illidan remarked. On Mount Hyjal and in Ashenvale, there were only scattered Night Elf villages, with few people around. Although he had been imprisoned for ten thousand years, after coming out, he found that the Night Elf world had not changed much.
"What evil scheme is this demon thinking about now?" Maiev Shadowsong's voice came from behind him. She rode another Gryphon and landed close behind him.
Surprisingly, Illidan did not argue with Maiev this time. He answered quietly, "I never expected a human city to be this lively, with so many people."
Maiev also looked over the prosperous port city, feeling somewhat moved. "The cities of these short-lived races are packed with crowds everywhere. They are truly far too noisy."
"Let's go. First, we'll visit the Temple of the Moon in the city, then pay a visit to this city's mistress, Lady Jaina." Even the blind man put away his contempt.
Two days later, Deren entered Jaina's Mage Tower with lingering fear in his heart. The shadow of being beaten ten times last time still hung over him.
But this was official business, and he had no way to avoid it.
Aegwynn stepped out of the Portal, glanced at the overly cautious Deren, and laughed. "Kid, why do you look so guilty?"
"Hehe, no, no!" Deren immediately changed the subject. "Who are the Night Elf representatives coming this time?"
"There's a blind man and a woman
