Aegwynn appeared here with White-haired Jaina through a Teleportation Spell.
The gnome assistant on duty jumped in fright and stammered, "Madam, how did you change like this?"
"It's the effect of magic." Aegwynn stepped forward to explain. "Something went wrong at today's banquet. She was struck by a strange spell and split into a transformed duplicate. It took me great effort to find a way to restore them into one person, but it consumed a great deal of life energy and left her missing some memories. Still, perhaps she can return to normal in the future."
White-haired Jaina tried asking, "Kindi?"
She had several gnome assistants who took turns on duty to help her handle various affairs. Kindi was the one she remembered most clearly—the one she had watched vanish amid the flames of Theramore.
"It's me, Madam!" The gnome assistant had not yet become her apprentice. Even without Rhonin's interference, this Kindi had been noticed for her magical talent and became Jaina's assistant.
"Would you like me to remind you of the matters that need handling today?" the gnome earnestly asked the white-haired Jaina.
"All right!" A distant memory rose in her heart. Jaina fought hard to restrain her emotions, took the large stack of documents, and sat down at the desk to begin reviewing them. From time to time, she discussed questionable points with Kindi.
Seeing White-haired Jaina swiftly settle into work, Aegwynn finally put her mind at ease. She prepared to return to Deren's home and look after the two split Jainas.
The thought gave her a headache. Damn Titans—they had actually planted such a vicious mark in the Black Dragon. What purpose could possibly drive them to do so many things that defied all reason?
This splitting spell, the Orcs being made to
