Near noon, the streets of Theramore were bustling with crowds. Armored guards stood scattered throughout every corner of the city. From the high rooftops and bell towers, the figures of Elf Rangers occasionally flashed by.
Varian stood by the inn window, glancing outside from time to time. Anduin and Sargathas exchanged a look, then helplessly looked away again. The dignified king of Stormwind City had been standing there watching for nearly two hours.
Somewhere in the marketplace, Valeera carried bag after bag of purchases as she began taking stock of today's haul. Kael'thas, beside her, had become Verina's living bag carrier. Though they had Space Bags, being able to look at their overflowing loot whenever they wanted made them even happier. Every so often, the two female elves let out cheerful laughter.
In Deren's home, Aegwynn sat upright on the sofa with her eyes half-closed, looking utterly calm and composed. Only Jaina tightly gripped the rag in her hands, staring outside with a worried expression.
Anveena, the incarnation of the Sunwell, was still not fully awake, but she knew something important was going to happen today. She looked at Aegwynn, then at Jaina, resting her chin on her little hand and tilting her head, seemingly lost in thought.
Deren stood atop the Mage Tower, with Chromie and White-haired Jaina beside him. He held a pocket watch in his hand and nervously watched the time.
Chromie held a Communication Crystal and occasionally spoke with Onyxia on the other end.
Meanwhile, White-haired Jaina used Eagle Eye to observe the two Jainas standing in the square. The square had already been cleared, with guards stationed all around it. That was the final performance venue.
"They're here!" Chromie said softly.
