When Deren walked out of the Temple of the Moon carrying a huge sword case, he found Jaina already waiting at the entrance.

"Hey, handsome. Need a ride?" Theramore's ruler stepped forward to greet him.

Deren said gratefully, "Gladly, milady. I thought I'd have to walk home."

"What's that?" Jaina noticed the sword case in Deren's hands.

"A divine sword that was originally supposed to be handed over to Varian by you." Deren smiled. "I still don't know how you found them later."

Hearing about the original Timeline again, Jaina shook her head with a smile. "So many things have changed, and you're trying to set history right too. Want me to take you to Varian? He'll like a good sword."

"Sure!" Deren wanted to deliver the sword to Varian as soon as possible too. The longer he held onto it, the more likely something could go wrong.

The female mage stepped forward and took Deren by the arm. With her other hand, she waved her staff and cast a spell. The two quickly vanished from outside the Temple of the Moon. The people nearby were not surprised; mage teleportation was hardly anything new in Theramore.

Inside the Temple of the Moon's gates, the temple's high priestess, Elaseth, regained her senses after Elune departed. She had escorted Deren to the entrance and silently watched as he and Jaina teleported away.

At the high priestess's signal, the people around them quietly cleared out. The priestess wandered casually inside the gates and muttered to herself, "Elaseth, do you think this Deren is worth investing a greater price in?"

"Goddess, forgive my bluntness, but he is only a somewhat clever human."

"No. He has repeatedly mentioned fate. At the very least, he is an unusual person who can sense fate and alter it."
