Sunlight shone on the streets of Theramore. Amid the surging crowds came goods from all over Azeroth. Goblins could be seen everywhere. These greedy creatures brought the city all manner of benefits and troubles.
Goblin Prince Rivendare sat in the merchant guild's extravagantly luxurious carriage, stuck in the congested streets.
"Damn it, I'm going to be late!" The green Goblin kept checking his pocket watch as the appointed time drew nearer.
"Time is money. Have someone get out and scatter some money on the road behind us. Draw away the people blocking the way." Finally losing patience, the Goblin gave the order to his guards.
A burly Goblin guard immediately climbed onto the carriage roof and shouted through a magical amplification device, "Money! Free money! Come and grab it!"
As everyone turned their attention toward him, he pulled out a money pouch, grabbed a large handful of Copper Coins, and began tossing them behind the carriage. The people in the street immediately rushed toward where the coins had fallen and fought over them.
After several large handfuls of Copper Coins had been scattered, the crowd blocking the carriage thinned out.
"Quickly, get us out of here. Pick up the pace. Time is money," the Goblin Prince loudly ordered the coachman.
Fortunately, after hurrying all the way, the Goblin finally entered the Theramore Mage Tower only a little late.
An attendant led him into the reception room. Seeing that Jaina and Deren were already seated there, the Goblin immediately nodded and bowed in greeting. "Lady Jaina, Brother Deren, I'm terribly sorry. The roads were congested, so I was delayed a little. Theramore is simply too prosperous. Merchant guilds from all across Azeroth can meet here." After explaining his lateness, he took the opportunity to flatter Jaina.
