Azeroth's Gathering of Heroes

The Paladins began battling the Old God's tentacles, the endlessly summoned Faceless Ones, and all manner of large and small monsters.

Varian cut down a minor Faceless One with a single slash and shouted, "The enemy is too powerful! Call for reinforcements!"

More Portals opened. The Old God's spatial blockade had been burned through by Fel Energy long ago. Now, helpers from all across Azeroth could be called in to beat up the Old God. If they were putting on a show, they might as well make it convincing.

Aegwynn stepped out of one Portal alongside the Theramore Mages, the married couple Illidan and Maiev, and a strangely dressed high priestess of the Night Elves. She was Elaseth of Theramore's Temple of the Moon, wielding twin crescent blades and bearing the appearance of the legendary Moonlit War God.

Kael'thas and his wife emerged from another Portal. The moment his wife Verina entered the Old God's hall, she pulled out a bottle of Sunwell Water and drank it dry. Behind her stood an entire squad of high-ranking Sindra mages, who began joining forces to cast a massive group Arcane spell.

A bronze-colored Portal opened as well, and Chromie rushed out with a group of dragon enforcers. The Red Dragon Queen could not refuse an opportunity to eliminate an Old God. Besides, she still owed Deren a huge favor over the Dragon Egg Rapid Transport Device. She had no choice but to send a group of adult Red Dragons into battle. As for the Blue Dragon King Malygos, no one knew what he was thinking. Upon hearing that the Red Dragons were joining the fight, he sent several Blue Dragons to take part as well.
