At the Theramore Mage Tower, Jaina received the new day's administrative reports. She first dealt with the documents marked urgent: additional city construction funds, guard weapon procurement, next month's budget report, and various other matters. Then came the situation overview, including the latest intelligence from Orgrimmar, Orc movements in The Barrens, and Ratchet Goblin daily activity. She sorted the more important items into several folders, carried them with her, and cast a Teleportation Spell to Deren's home.
"The little mage is here again!" came the Black Dragon's complaint from ahead.
Jaina did not get angry. Instead, she said gently, "I'm only here to consult my adviser about processing intelligence. The Horde has new developments again."

Her eyes widened as she stared straight at Jaina, another human princess. Something seemed to have changed about her. Her entire being radiated a kind of brilliance Jaina found familiar.
"J-Jaina, what is this!?" Jaina could not help asking aloud.
The Black Dragon immediately cut in from the side. "Just like you. She represents the Star Soul and wants to strengthen the pact."
"Uh..." Jaina had no standing to criticize her. She only felt that Deren had been divided into even smaller portions.
"I'm sorry, Jaina. I-I-I had no choice either. I want children of my own too. This is also the Star Soul's will," Jaina said softly but firmly.
"I don't mind," Jaina said. What else could she say? After all, she had essentially cut in line herself. She could only wave her hand to show that she had no objection.
Onyxia revealed a satisfied smile.
