"Baby! My baby!" Deren was teasing his daughter in the Mage Tower. White Jaina had once again come to see Theresa while Theresa's mother, Jaina, was away.
"Hello, White Jaina!" Deren greeted her warmly as soon as he saw her approach. She had contributed the most to resolving the matter of the Old God N'Zoth.
"Hello, Deren." White Jaina skillfully took Theresa from him and began playing with the child, making her laugh continuously.
"Has that Ysera been behaving herself lately?" White Jaina found a moment to ask about the Evil God's incarnation.
"She hasn't done anything unusual. She still goes shopping every day, writes fashion reports, and spends half a day with me every week for lessons," Deren answered honestly.
"That's good." White Jaina was really just making conversation. She could not help thinking about how much she wanted a child of her own.
Her gaze drifted toward Deren again. Thinking that the child in her arms had been born to her and Jaina made her heart grow warm, and she hurriedly lowered her head to hide the look in her eyes.
After spending so much time together, Theresa had gradually accepted this aunt who looked so much like her mother. Children adapted quickly to White Jaina's hugs and games.
Watching the two Jainas from different Timelines interact with Jaina's child, Deren felt himself relax. He said, "News came from Zandalar that the mission is nearly complete. Oni will be coming back too."
"Oh? The Trolls surrendered that easily?" White Jaina asked in surprise. In her memories, Zandalar's Golden Fleet had caused the Alliance quite a bit of trouble. In the end, spies had planted bombs on every ship as if it were child's play, and Gnome craftsmen had detonated them, wiping out the Golden Fleet in one stroke.
