"Two days from now is the prisoner exchange. Tyrande invited us to witness it. Do you want to go?" Jaina asked Deren after teleporting over and finding herself a seat.
"Prisoner exchange?" Deren thought for a moment, then immediately asked in delight, "Has that batch of gold been deposited?"
"Mm, it has!" Jaina nodded. "Shandris personally escorted it here. It has all been placed in Theramore's treasury."
"What gold?" Onyxia's ears automatically filtered out everything except the word "gold," and she promptly asked.
Jaina explained, "The Night Elves are exchanging Prisoners of War with the Orcs. The two sides have different numbers of captives, so the elves paid a sum of gold to ransom all of theirs. To ensure fairness, they deposited the money with Theramore."
"How much is it?" Though Onyxia was not obsessed with wealth, she was still deeply interested in gold.
"Gold equivalent to sixty-five thousand gold coins," Jaina said proudly.
"Wow..." The Black Dragon could not help letting out a gasp. "That's enough to fill an entire room."
"Of course!" Jaina had made a great deal of money over the years, but she was still delighted by the sudden addition of more than sixty thousand gold coins.
Will the Orcs be able to haul it away? The Black Dragon could not help feeling regretful.
"Hmph! If they manage to take even one gold coin away, my name isn't Jaina," Jaina declared proudly.
"Then what are you going to do?" The Black Dragon grew curious.
"The Orcs need supplies too, to support their war in Ashenvale. I've already informed the merchant guilds that any Orc who comes to buy goods must pay at least fifty percent more. The Night Elves have already driven prices through the roof with their massive purchases. Now that the
