The Orcs and elves finished exchanging prisoners in just one morning. The elves gained nearly a thousand fighters, while the Orcs received tens of thousands of gold coins to buy supplies. It was impossible to say who had lost out or who had benefited. Only the final victor would be qualified to say.
Watching the transaction between both sides conclude, Deren lost interest in watching any longer. Besides, the Orcs' axe troops were nothing special anyway.

"As long as Oni is happy!" It was rare for Deren to openly show his relationship with his Black Dragon Companion in front of everyone, and he felt rather emotional.
