After seeing off the ancient High Priestess, Deren said to Ysera, "You should head back first. I need Jaina to handle some official business."
Seeing that her teacher was sending her away, the Void Elf had no choice but to pout and return home aggrieved.
Seeing that Deren had something to say, Jaina hurriedly asked, "Do we need a quiet environment?" She gestured, asking whether she should put up a barrier to block out sound.
Deren shook his head. "Let's talk at my house."
"Alright!" Jaina teleported straight to Deren's home.
The Black Dragon was enjoying tea and pastries. Seeing her man arrive with the mage princess, she frowned slightly. Then she remembered that he had returned so early, so they must have only handled some official business, and her mood brightened again. Thus, she merely said coolly, "Darling, did you miss me?"
Deren hurried over to soothe his Black Dragon Companion. Only after quite a while did he say, "Call Chromie back. We have something to ask her."
"O-okay!" Onyxia still knew when to be sensible. Knowing that Deren had serious business to handle, she hurriedly contacted her companion dragon and Lezi Long.
After a while, a Bronze Dragon Time Rift opened in the living room. Long-legged Chromie leaped out and loudly asked, "What is it, Onyxia? Did Deren sneak off to fool around again? I'll take you to catch him in the act."
"Hey, I'm right here. Could you not badmouth me behind my back?" Deren hurriedly stepped forward to prove his innocence.
"Oh, haha, I didn't see you, didn't see you. It was all a misunderstanding." Chromie would never admit to her slip of the tongue.
The Black Dragon's face had darkened enough to drip water. Only after seeing Chromie apologize did she ease up a little.
