Cave of Time,
"Hey, Chronormu! Long time no see." As soon as Chromie, in dragon form, reached the entrance, she saw Anachronos squatting there and greeting her.
"Damn it, Anachronos, why are you hanging around the gate?" Chromie asked curiously.
"I am waiting for my mission," the male Bronze Dragon said.
"Could it be about An'qiraj?" Lezi Long immediately recalled that he had taken part in the War of the Shifting Sands.
"That's a secret!" Anachronos could only brush him off casually.
"Forget it. I came to see Nozdormu. Is he home?" Chromie did not dwell on it.
"He is. Your Majesty is in the Cave of Time today," Anachronos said stiffly.
"Alright, see you later!" Chromie and Lezi Long immediately rushed into the Bronze Dragons' old nest.
Deep within the lair, the sands of time seemed to have taken physical form, flowing and converging into countless glittering tributaries and whirlpools.
Chromie's dragon body traveled through this realm beyond mortal comprehension. Her usually irreverent face carried an unusual measure of solemnity. Thinking about meeting her boss made her tense up. Ever since she had started following Deren, she had done so many rotten things. Honestly, she was a little afraid to face the big boss.
At last, on a relatively stable island of time-sand, she found her boss—the Bronze Dragon King, Nozdormu. His enormous dragon body, gleaming with bronze light, seemed sculpted from time itself. Countless fragments of past and future reflected in his massive eyes, their depth suffocating. He lay there silently, as if he had been waiting for a long time.
"Great Keeper of Time," Chromie said, reining in her bubbly nature and bowing respectfully, "I have something to report, and I need your help."
