"What? Anduin had a sister?" Upon hearing Jaina mention that Varian had adopted a girl, Deren nearly spat out the tea in his mouth.
This Timeline had become so chaotic that even Mama Nozdormu would not recognize it. Thinking of Anduin's Black girlfriend, she probably would not appear now, right? But having an extra older sister was not strange either.
"Dear, why are you so concerned about that little prince?" It was still the Black Dragon Companion who noticed Deren's unusual reaction.
"How should I put this? Things in the future are not certain to happen." Deren was not sure whether Anduin would still walk the old path to The Maw, whether he would ultimately abandon the Holy Light out of doubt and a refusal to take responsibility, and whether he would finally meet that Black girlfriend, "Lothar."
"What are you laughing about?" Jaina also noticed that Deren was secretly chuckling. "Could it be about Anduin?"
How could the king of cowards dare reveal such bizarre futures? Chromie had been nowhere to be seen all day again. She had probably gone to meet her fellow fan club member, Vereesa. Who knew, maybe she would turn into Muddy-reesa in the future.
Deren's mind wandered through all sorts of nonsense, leaving the Black Dragon and the female mage off to the side. The two exchanged a glance, nodded in silent agreement, then cast magic at the same time, causing Deren to suddenly float into the air.
"Ah!" The sudden weightlessness nearly made Deren cry out, "Mom!"
"Then hurry up and tell us. What were you thinking about? What will happen to Anduin?" Jaina still cared about her old friend's son, afraid that he might one day meet some tragic fate.
"I'll tell you, I'll tell you. Put me down first." Deren immediately
