The air in Theramore's dock district seemed to freeze.
"This shipment doesn't match the manifest. Seize it all!"
Sylvanas Windrunner's icy voice lashed Orc representative Mogronar across the face like a whip. His thick fingers clenched with cracking sounds, and his green face had nearly darkened from suppressed rage. He glared at the condescending Elf Ranger general, then at the Elf Rangers standing ready behind her, their eyes filled with undisguised hostility.
"You can't do this! The front lines need these supplies. Just because of a few minor discrepancies in the paperwork, you're holding the goods back and refusing to release them. I'll report this to the Great Chieftain! I'll file a complaint with your Jaina!" Mogronar roared furiously.
"File a complaint? Report me?" Sylvanas sneered. "Go ahead. When you barged into my office and accused me without knowing the facts, you should have expected this. You were scammed by some street con artist, yet instead of reporting it to City Hall, you came here to berate me. Are your brains made of muscle?"
"I..." The Orc was cursed speechless.
Ever since Sylvanas began strictly inspecting goods purchased by the Orcs, Theramore had effectively shut its gates on Orgrimmar.
After receiving the report, Thrall wrote to Jaina as well, hoping she could step in and coordinate matters so the Orcs' goods could be transported out smoothly.
Seeing that the two sides still maintained a friendly relationship on the surface, Jaina had no choice but to summon Deren and ask for his opinion.
"I'd love to squeeze the Orcs by the throat and refuse to sell them even a single nail," Jaina said indignantly.
"Anyone who turns down money is an idiot!" Deren said bluntly. "Tell Thrall that the city guard will definitely ease up on their inspections of the goods."
