In the end, Deren gave Jaina an idea. They found two back-to-back storefronts: one sold baby supplies, while the other was a restaurant run by a Goblin. A door was opened through the dividing wall on the second floor.
Whenever Kael'thas and his wife entered the baby supply store and went upstairs to browse, they could pass through the newly opened door directly into the room Old Sun King had rented above the Goblin restaurant next door.
The people on the first floors of both shops were Jaina's subordinates. If anything unusual happened, they would sound the alarm, giving the people meeting upstairs time to be on guard.
"This is such a great idea! It completely avoids the eyes and ears of Theramore's other demonic spies." After making all the arrangements, Jaina repeatedly praised Deren.
"Hehe!" Deren could only grin foolishly. This was all stuff that had already been overused in the history of his world. Underground printing presses, covert contacts, and the like—just taking out a little of it could solve the problems he encountered here.
The remaining task was figuring out how to feed Kil'jaeden false information through Old Sun King.
To that end, Deren gathered everyone in the household for a meeting and had them pool their wisdom to fabricate conspiracies involving the Twisting Nether.
Black Dragon Onyxia said, "The Twisting Nether isn't something ordinary people can understand. It'll be hard to make up."
Deren said blandly, "Don't actually think about what people in Theramore could do to the Twisting Nether. Open up your thinking. For example, maybe some snack is called a 'Twisted' pastry, and Void is the name of the pastry shop. Someone buys pastries there, gets into an argument, and then someone yells that they're going to blow up the Twisted Void Pastry Shop.
