Dranosh was bathing Gale. As soon as he poured a bucket of water over her, the dread wolf let out a miserable howl. Even wolves feared water. But trusting her master, she did not run away. Then, when he set down the bucket and approached, she shook out her fur, spraying him all over with droplets.

"Ha ha, Gale was being naughty again." Dranosh was not angry. He picked up a large brush and began grooming Gale. After a few strokes along her fur, the dread wolf wore an expression of enjoyment, standing docilely as Dranosh brushed her.

While he was busy tending to Gale, the dread wolf suddenly raised her head alertly, turned toward the outside, and began growling softly.

"Enemies?" Dranosh tossed aside the brush as well, grabbed the battle axe beside him, and prepared for combat.

A tall figure walked over from the canal. Upon seeing Dranosh, he stopped some distance away and called out loudly, "Dranosh, do you no longer recognize your Great Chieftain?"

"Thrall? Great Chieftain!" Dranosh looked utterly incredulous. He swiftly put away his battle axe and ran forward. His wary gaze never left Thrall for an instant, afraid that the man before him was merely a phantom from his own mind.

"Good lad! You look like you've been living very well!" Thrall spread his arms and stepped forward to embrace the young Orc. Behind them, the dread wolf let out a threatening snarl.

"Gale, he's a friend. Your friend too." Dranosh hurriedly stopped the dread wolf's aggression. The she-wolf licked her lips with her tongue before finally falling silent.

Thrall paid no mind to the water droplets on Dranosh. He slung an arm around his neck and asked, "Dranosh, how have things been here?"

"Very well!" Dranosh stood at attention
