It took Sinestra a long time to calm down. She gently asked her daughter, "How did Deren provoke that damned thing? And even raid its treasury?"

"Hehe, that's another story. Anyway, the Goblins gained far too much from it. They were scared too, and they wanted to cooperate further with Deren, so they desperately showered him with money and gifts to win his favor," the Black Dragon said smugly.

After saying that, she took several bags from her Space Bag and introduced them. "These are all gifts they sent over time: arcane water crystals, mana gems, rare materials. Just a pile of odds and ends. If Mother likes anything, take it yourself."

Sinestra looked at the various "gifts" that nearly covered half the table. Her hands trembled as she casually picked up a bag and opened it. The reflected light from the multicolored gems instantly dazzled her dragon eyes.

She remembered how, in her old experimental bases in either Outland or Azeroth, she had needed to openly and secretly struggle against all kinds of factions just to obtain a little of these gems or rare materials. Sometimes, she had even been forced to compromise and endure humiliation.

Yet here, her daughter displayed materials and gems in such great quantities and such a complete variety that they far exceeded anything she had ever known. Even everything she had seen or imagined before did not amount to as much as what lay on this table.

Trembling, she opened one bag after another, constantly calculating the value of these treasures and considering what experiments they could be used for.

Seeing how excited her mother was, Onyxia immediately reassured her. "Mother, don't rush. These are all ours. They won't run away. If this still isn't enough, I can buy more at the Theramore market.
