Just as Selina anxiously searched for Anduin.

A ball of warm Holy Light rose from behind the garden rockery, revealing a small figure within its glow.

"Big sister, save—" Anduin's voice was cut off halfway through.

But it was enough for Selina to see a hunched humanoid creature holding her younger brother hostage.

"Let him go!" Selina first issued a low warning, afraid the monster would hurt Anduin.

The wolf-like humanoid monster that walked upright tucked Anduin under one arm and beckoned the girl over with the other.

Selina immediately realized that this was an assassin who had sneaked in alone. He was afraid she would call for help and ruin his plan.

Selina understood that if she did as he demanded, she and Anduin would only become pawns at his mercy.

"No, let him go. I won't call anyone." Selina tried to stall for time.

The wolf-like humanoid monster directly reached his free hand toward Anduin's throat. Selina could see his claws gleaming coldly beneath the moonlight.

"No, no, please don't hurt him. I'll come over right away." Selina nearly stopped breathing.

The monster beckoned to Selina again. This time, she had no choice but to take small steps toward him.

When the beastlike face saw Selina approaching, it actually revealed an expression of smug satisfaction much like a human's.

Selina seemed terrified, her steps unsteady as her legs weakened and she swayed from side to side.

"Faster. Don't try any tricks." The upright beast actually spoke.

Selina was secretly alarmed, but her face revealed nothing. She raised both hands in front of her as if showing that she meant no harm, inching closer to the monster.

"Tell me, do you have any other companions?" the monster asked in a low voice. He gripped Anduin by the throat, leaving
