Deren ignored the women happily drinking and returned to his own room.
There was a ready-made bed inside, along with a living room filled with all kinds of food, pastries, snacks, and fruit.
After soaking in the hot spring, Deren was feeling a little hungry.
He glanced out the window and could faintly hear the noisy sounds of the Black Dragons drinking.
He went into the washroom and took a shower. After all, after soaking in a hot spring, one could never be too suspicious of Goblins.
When he came out wrapped in a bathrobe, he found someone else in the living room. No, another Elf.
"Vereesa, why are you here?" Deren asked in confusion. "Did you enter the wrong room?"
"Hehe, Deren, I didn't enter the wrong room. I came here specifically to find you. Haha—" Something seemed off about her. She appeared to have been drinking.
Deren swept his gaze around and spotted a small liquor cabinet in the living room, stocked with several different kinds of alcohol.
"You've been drinking?" Deren walked over, concerned.
"Just a little!" the little ranger said dismissively.
"A little?" Judging by her state, it was probably far more than that. After finally escaping her sisters' watchful eyes and getting a huge room full of delicious food and fun things all to herself, she had probably wanted to try everything.
"Go back and get some sleep. Don't let your eldest sister or Second Sister find out," Deren advised kindly.
They had known each other for years, and this was the first time he had seen her drunk. He could not help worrying.
"Deren, I want to ask you something." Vereesa suddenly turned serious and grabbed Deren's hand, pulling him toward her. She nearly threw herself onto him.
"Hey, be careful." Deren protested unhappily.
