By the time Deren finished helping Lezi Long write the report and lay exhausted on the sofa, he finally remembered there was still a debt he had not collected.
When the black dragon heard Deren shouting that he was "going to collect a debt," she paused in the middle of drinking her black tea and asked, "Dear, what debt is there now? Could it be Elune? Last time, Aegwynn received restored youth from her. Oh, I haven't seen that former Guardian in so long."
Deren's good mood instantly vanished, as if he had brought up some hidden secret himself.
He gave a dry laugh and said, "Didn't the grand plan succeed? The Moon Goddess promised me a spot for immortality."
"Immortality!" Onyxia was shocked. She had not expected Elune to be so generous. "Then, dear, do you want to go cash it in now?"
The black dragon grew a little anxious. She had originally thought Azeroth's Soul would grant him immortality sooner or later, but she had not expected Elune to make the first move. The grand plan had indeed been something extremely beneficial to both Azeroth and Elune.
