A Death Knight, clad head to toe in white armor, sat calmly atop a rearing Undead warhorse as he issued his orders. A ghostly glow shone in his eyes as he watched the enemy lines. His hand drifted unconsciously toward the enchanted sword at his waist. Perhaps only by gripping that sword could he continue to face the enemy before him, because he knew who stood on the other side.

The human catapults had started moving, but the stones they launched were stopped by a blue barrier just before they could smash into the Scourge.

"What is that?"

"Our stones were blocked!"

The barrier threw the ranks into confusion, but their morale rose instead of falling. Anyone who had just seen their comrades turn into those hideous things wouldn't be thinking of retreat. They knew they and the enemy before them could never coexist. Only by fighting to the death could they win a sliver of hope for themselves and their loved ones.

"Don't break ranks! Archers, loose!"

Turalyon couldn't let his men fight as individuals. Fighting alone on a battlefield was the stupidest thing they could do. But when even the arrows, falling like spring rain, were stopped by the same azure barrier as the stones, a flicker of fury rose in Turalyon's heart.

Turalyon drew his sword, ready to charge, but Uther beside him pulled him back.

"As commander, Turalyon, your duty isn't to charge into battle. It's to remain at the center of the army, steady even when the heavens fall. A commander should charge only when the battle's outcome hangs in the balance. Leave this to me!"

"Kurdath! Dare to charge into the enemy ranks with me?"

"Hahaha!
