Now, in the name of Tirion Fordring, I beg you, Holy Light, lend me your power, so that the good may find justice and evil may be punished!"

Fordring used Taelan's momentum to flip backward several times, putting some distance between them. He then planted Ashbringer before his chest, closed his eyes, and solemnly and devoutly recited his oath. Bovar ordered Taelan to stop him, but when Taelan's greatsword came down on Fordring, a dense radiance blocked it completely. No matter how hard Taelan pushed, he couldn't advance another inch. As Fordring finished his oath, a pillar of light burst upward from beneath his feet, piercing the heavens and breaking through the thick clouds that had shrouded Northrend's skies all year. Then solemn, reverent singing rang out from above. Angels, each with four wings on their backs and clad in armor, descended from the sky, pointing their Holy Light-emitting swords at the Lich King and his minions.

Once all the angels had appeared, the pillar of light that had connected heaven and earth vanished. Yet Fordring remained wrapped in a layer of golden Holy Light, and even his silver-white hair shone brilliantly.
