Chapter Six: Miss Shiori, You're Fired

Tenku City, the Itsuka residence.

Early in the morning, Itsuka Shiori was already standing in the kitchen, humming a tune as she skillfully flipped the pan in her hands, carrying herself with the air of a virtuous homemaker.

Since their parents, who worked for a major technology company, were often away from home and couldn't provide their children with regular meals, she, as the eldest daughter, had taken on the task of preparing food.

Perhaps it was simply talent. Despite having studied cooking for only a short time, Itsuka Shiori had already surpassed her mother in handling cooking utensils.

Before long, a Japanese-style breakfast centered around rice, accompanied by miso soup, grilled fish, pickles, hamburger steak, and hot spring eggs, was ready.

Because there were guests, she had made far more food than usual today, which had taken considerably more time.

Fortunately, it was Sunday, so Itsuka Shiori didn't have to rush to finish everything because of time constraints.

"Everyone, please enjoy."

Since Tohka Yatogami had been sent off for a medical examination, Miss Shiori hadn't prepared a breakfast portion for her. Carrying out four servings from the kitchen, she placed the dishes on the table before speaking to the three guests waiting for breakfast.

The first of the three people waiting to eat was naturally her younger sister, Kotori Itsuka. The other two were supposedly the only male Spirit and the friend he had mentioned.

Well, one was an incredibly cute girl with beautiful sakura-pink hair, dressed in a kimono. Her name was Okita Souji, the same as a famous swordsman from the end of the Edo period.
