"You lost control this time and nearly caused a huge disaster. Do you know that?"
"Of the three people you attacked, one was the young sect master of the Clear Sky Sect, aside from Huo Yuhao."
"The other was Wang Qiu'er, who, like Huo Yuhao, possesses the Ultimate Martial Soul Golden Dragon."
"Wang Qiu'er has a very unusual background. When you go to see Huo Yuhao, be careful not to offend her."
Yan Shaozhe warned her gravely. "Wang Qiu'er comes from a mysterious family."
"Two Limit Douluo guard her family, and on the day she came to enroll, those two Limit Douluo personally escorted her here."
Ma Xiaotao recalled what had happened a few days ago, her red lips parting slightly.
"You mean that black dragon that sent Xuan Zi flying into Sea God Lake a few days ago was a member of Wang Qiu'er's family?"
Yan Shaozhe nodded. "That's right. You must never provoke her without reason. Understand?"
That was also why, when Huo Yuhao demanded compensation, Yan Shaozhe had only given him three Soul Bones.
Huo Yuhao, Wang Qiu'er, and Wang Dong'er had all been there together. Yan Shaozhe was genuinely afraid they might leave Shrek in a fit of anger.
Besides, the force behind Wang Qiu'er was one that even Limit Douluo Yan Shaozhe and Shrek couldn't afford to provoke.
If a Limit Douluo sought revenge, Shrek, whose older generation hadn't fully matured yet, simply didn't have enough clout to stand up to them.
Ma Xiaotao understood that the force behind Wang Qiu'er might be greater than her own. "I understand."
Over at Shrek's Outer Court.
"Teacher Mu Jin, you really work hard! You're acting as the homeroom teacher for two classes by yourself."
The bespectacled, mild-mannered middle-aged man was Wang Yan, a teacher with extensive theoretical knowledge. He praised Mu Jin, who stood before him.
Mu Jin smiled faintly. "It's nothing. Since the children trust me, I can't let them down."
Wang Yan sighed. "Teacher Zhou Yi's educational philosophy was just too extreme. Otherwise, things wouldn't have ended this way."
"I tried to talk to her many times, to give those children a chance, but in the end..."
Mu Jin didn't mind at all. Thanks to that old woman's downfall, her younger brother, who had been expelled, had received another invitation to enroll at Shrek.
Unfortunately, Mu Jin was now the homeroom teacher for both Class One and Class Nine, and had no time to go home and celebrate the good news with her family.
She could only wait until her younger brother returned to school so the two of them could celebrate together.
Mu Jin approved of Wang Yan's teaching philosophy, and she thought well of him as a person, too.
"Teacher Wang Yan, let's not go on. Thank you for being willing to help me with some of the teaching duties."
"I'll leave the children in Class Nine in your hands. How are the students in Class One doing?"
"They're all doing well," Wang Yan replied. "There's no need to thank me for this. I'm a Shrek teacher, too!"
After chatting for a little longer, they parted ways and headed to the classrooms of Class One and Class Nine.
Ever since Shrek's incident of the weak overcoming the strong, the position of homeroom teacher for Freshman Class One had been left vacant.
The academy had originally planned to assign a new teacher, but the students in Class One were afraid they might end up with some kind of monster, so they suggested Mu Jin as their homeroom teacher.
But how could the students in Class Nine agree? Didn't they have a homeroom teacher of their own?
The students in Class One said, "Sorry, we don't!"
In the end, Mu Jin had stepped in to mediate. Until the freshman tournament was over, she would temporarily be homeroom teacher for both classes. Afterward, the academy would assign a new teacher.
Considering the students' unusual circumstances, Shrek Academy quickly approved Mu Jin's request.
Wang Yan arrived in Class Nine. "Hello, everyone. Because of the unusual circumstances, Teacher Mu Jin is handling two classes by herself."
"To..."
After a decent opening speech, Wang Yan quickly settled into teaching.
There was no denying that Wang Yan's theoretical knowledge was truly solid. He could offer insights and advice tailored to the Martial Souls of most of the students in Class Nine.
After a few lessons, the students in Class Nine had come to like him quite a bit.
Even Huo Yuhao couldn't help thinking that, in the chaos of Douluo II, Wang Yan was truly one of the few normal people around.
Before long, evening came. In Huo Yuhao's room...
"You two weren't spotted, were you?"
"Don't worry. We climbed up with our bare hands, and even brought this lazybones along!"
"Who are you calling a lazybones, Wang Qiu'er?"
"Whoever takes the label is the lazybones. Now get off me!"
"Believe it or not, I'll stay right here on top of you!"
"Believe it or not, I'll lie down on the floor in a second!"
"Hmph. Go ahead, then."
After Wang Dong'er and Wang Qiu'er had their usual bickering match, Huo Yuhao told them to keep their voices down. This was a boys' dormitory, after all; they didn't want to attract any extra attention.
Wang Dong'er asked, "Did you get the compensation for us?"
"Yeah. Dean Yan handed it to me after school today!" Huo Yuhao replied.
A flicker of interest crossed Wang Qiu'er's eyes. "Then let's open them and have a look!"
Huo Yuhao took six thick black bags from his Storage Belt and opened the first one.
Inside was a golden-red arm bone. The three of them could feel the distinct fluctuations of Soul Power coming from it.
There was also a bamboo slip in the bag, with several words carved on it—Golden Glow Left Arm Bone.
Wang Dong'er stared at the Soul Bone, transfixed. She could sense the dense Light Power within it.
"Yuhao, I want this one!"
Huo Yuhao smiled indulgently. "Don't rush. Let's see if there are any others that suit you."
"Okay!" Wang Dong'er replied obediently.
Huo Yuhao continued opening the bags. The second contained a Right Arm Soul Bone, pitch-black from end to end. Faintly, they could hear a roar that sounded like both a lion and a tiger.
"This is..."
Wang Qiu'er explained, "It's the Right Arm Bone of a ten-thousand-year-old Black Lion Tiger."
"The Black Lion Tiger was a Soul Beast that lived in the Star Dou Great Forest five thousand years ago."
"But because of human hunting and the natural law of survival of the fittest in the Star Dou Great Forest, it no longer exists there!"
"The Black Lion Tiger was a type of strength-based Soul Beast. It combined almost all of the best traits of lions and tigers."
"My Golden Dragon has Ultimate Strength, so this Soul Bone should belong to me!"
Huo Yuhao patted Wang Qiu'er on the head. "Don't rush. Let's finish opening them all first!"
He shook the bag, and sure enough, there was another bamboo slip inside—Lion Tiger Power Right Arm Bone.
The third Soul Bone was for the head. It was a dazzling, crystal-clear purple-black skull, and there was another bamboo slip inside.
Three-Eyed Demonic Light Spirit Skull!
The fourth bag contained a bright gold Right Arm Bone. The light it gave off carried a keen, piercing sharpness.
The words on the bamboo slip read—Light Breaking Demon Right Arm Bone.
The fifth Soul Bone was for the left arm. It was earthy yellow, and radiated a deep, steady feeling, giving off a sense of dependable strength.
The green bamboo slip read—Mountain Mover Left Arm Bone.
"This Soul Bone should have come from a Mountain Mover Giant Ox. It's also a strength-based Soul Beast. Legend has it that they're incredibly strong and can easily shift a small mountain," Wang Qiu'er explained.
The last one looked like a Right Leg Bone. Huo Yuhao could sense the power of the wind element within it.
The bamboo slip in the bag read—Wind Chaser Shadow Right Leg Bone.
Wang Qiu'er glanced at it and said, "This should have come from a wind-type Soul Beast, the Wind Chaser Leopard."
"They're said to be incredibly fast. At their fastest, they can even rival the wind!"
