After finishing these, Renard lay on his back on the bed, sighing with a sense of loss, as if mourning his lost otaku life.
He then opened the game interface according to the System's instructions, and the first things that caught his eye were the Attribute Panel and Skill Introduction.
Renard explored them one by one. As a seasoned gamer, he found it relatively easy to understand them, especially since the System provided detailed explanations.

Renard carefully read through the descriptions, and a single word immediately came to mind: Awesome!
He then began to check his own attributes, and his eyes immediately twitched: "Strength seven, Agility six, Intelligence five, Charisma five, Potential zero, unallocated Skill Points twenty-three. Damn, I'm a total weakling."
Fortunately, things did not exceed his expectations and instead ignited his long-dormant fighting spirit.
Renard knew very well that in this dangerous world, enhancing one's combat power was paramount, so he immediately made a reasonable allocation of his Skill Points.
Strength category: a total of seven Skill Points. Three points were allocated to Iron Bones, two points to Strong Attack, and two points to Precision.
Agility category: a total of six Skill Points, which were evenly distributed between Martial Arts and Control. As for Riding Skill, he could put it aside for now.
Intelligence category: a total of five Skill Points, all allocated to Eidetic Memory.
This body was still a considerable distance from comprehending Battle Qi, let alone learning battle techniques. Likewise, he didn't need to command troops, and Tactical Command was the most useless of the useless, at least for now.
Charisma didn't require any choices; he just needed to allocate them in order.
After the attribute allocation was complete, the System automatically popped up a notification.
"Host's attributes are: Strength: Seven, Agility: Six, Intelligence: Five, Charisma: Five, Potential: Zero, Unallocated Skill Points: Zero."
"Host's Strength category skill levels are: Iron Bones: Three, Strong Attack: Two, Precision: Two."
"Host's Agility category skill levels are: Riding Skill: Zero, Martial Arts: Three, Control: Three."
"Host's Intelligence category skill levels are: Battle Qi Usage: Zero, Eidetic Memory: Five, Tactical Command: Zero."
"Host's Charisma category skill levels are: Command: Two, Valor: Two, Near Death: One."
The System's emotionless voice sounded like music to Renard's ears. A blissful expression appeared on his face, clearly imagining himself conquering the entire continent with the help of the System.
However, the blissful smile quickly froze on his face. When he clicked to proceed to the next step, a prompt box suddenly appeared in the System interface.
"Host's physical functions are insufficient to fully bear the System's load. Please proceed to the next step only after all indicators are qualified."
"Strength: Seven (Unqualified), Agility: Six (Unqualified), Intelligence: Five (Unqualified), Charisma: Five (Unqualified)."
Renard stared blankly, then blurted out a curse: "What the hell!"
He suddenly remembered the saying: "When Heaven is about to confer a great office on any man, it first exercises his mind with suffering, and his sinews and bones with toil. It exposes his body to hunger, and subjects him to extreme poverty. It confounds his undertakings. By all these means it stimulates his mind, trains his disposition, and supplies his incompetence."
Others transmigrated with cheat codes, capable of dominating everything, but he, on the other hand, was stuck at the character creation screen.
However, he quickly came to his senses. He had already transmigrated to this world, so how could character creation not be complete?
Unable to figure it out, he sighed dejectedly, "I'll just go with the flow!"
Renard got up and did a dozen push-ups, wondering if it would increase his Strength. As expected, things weren't as simple as he thought. His attributes remained unchanged, but his stomach rumbled in protest.
The fighting spirit he had just mustered was easily defeated by hunger. He shouted towards the door, "Selina, come in."
Selina was the personal maidservant of the original owner of this body. For now, let's refer to the original owner of this body as Scum Renard.
Selina is fifteen years old, with a delicate appearance and a petite figure. She is known as a beauty within Saint Brieuc Fortress, but unfortunately, she comes from a commoner background. Because her mother was seriously ill and urgently needed medicine money, her father painfully sold her into the Baron's manor to work as a servant.
Scum Renard, a lecherous fiend, would not let such a charming and lovely girl go. The very next day, he climbed into her bed.
Although Scum Renard was abusive and verbally aggressive to outsiders, he treated his own people extremely well. After the girl entered the manor, she did not suffer any mistreatment and served him wholeheartedly.
Hearing Renard's shout, Selina immediately pushed open the door and entered. Her face, still bearing childish innocence, was filled with a look of pleasant surprise. "Young Master, you're awake!"
Renard felt immensely relieved. He suspected that this girl was the only one in all of Saint Brieuc Fortress who genuinely wished for his speedy recovery.
Selina's attire was extremely simple, yet it couldn't conceal her beautiful figure. Perhaps due to excessive worry, she looked much thinner than he remembered, exuding an air of delicate charm that evoked pity.
If he were on Earth, Renard would have been drooling at such a pure and adorable little beauty. But now, he didn't have that kind of thought. He rubbed his stomach and ordered, "Quickly prepare something to eat. I'm starving."
"Okay, Young Master." Selina obediently agreed and turned to leave the room.
Watching her small retreating figure, Renard couldn't help but curse this dark era and the filthy Noblemen, whether he meant it or not.
