"Kryptonian God...?!!"
Abin cried out in shock, then fell completely silent.
The silence lasted a full seven seconds before Abin finally spoke again.
"I only stopped paying attention to Earth for a few weeks. Why is there suddenly a Kryptonian God there!
Bzzd, don't go looking for Mogo by yourself. Stay on Mars and wait for me. I'll be there soon!
Earth is too dangerous now. Damn it, it's actually a Kryptonian God..."
Abin quietly ended the call, and his words left Clark frowning for quite a while.
The Green Lanterns Clark had met before, Mogo and Bzzd, had both given him fairly good impressions.
But this Abin...
What gave him the right to make such assumptions about Krypton? Why did a Kryptonian God have to be as dangerous as he claimed?
That view was not only arbitrary, but terribly one-sided.
Stereotyping!
Thinking that, Clark shook his head unhappily and turned to grab Tiff by the wrist.
"Forget it. Let those Green Lanterns communicate among themselves. I'll take you home!"
"We're just going back like this?"
Tiff asked fiercely, then glared viciously at Bzzd's spaceship and continued.
"He actually slandered Your Majesty right in front of me. That so-called Green Lantern Abin must die. I will—"
"You'll do no such thing!!!"
Clark immediately felt like crying. Sure enough, these were his most traditional clansmen, the kind who wanted to kill people at the drop of a hat!
Suddenly, he did not blame Abin Sur nearly as much, because Krypton really was fucking dangerous!!!
Clark held Tiff back in despair, then waved at Bzzd's spaceship.
"You wait here for your teammate. We're leaving first. Once you get to Earth, just come find me and Great-Grandfather in Metropolis, United States."
"No need!"
Hearing Clark's farewell, Bzzd refused, then opened the spaceship hatch.
