Watching the spear flying straight at him, Desaad's expression turned grim, and he boldly decided to face Heisenberg's attack head-on.
Of course, this was not really his choice, nor was he being forced by his mother...

He clutched his chest with difficulty and suddenly fell from the sky toward the ground.
Nearby, Darkseid, who had escaped Heisenberg's grasp, slowly raised both hands to his head and forced his neck, twisted more than two and a half full turns out of place, back into alignment.
He rolled his neck as his bones and muscles continuously healed, then disdainfully glanced at the falling Desaad.
"You did what you were supposed to do, Desaad!"
As he spoke, he charged at Heisenberg again. This time, Omega Ray continuously streamed from his eyes.
Crimson Omega Ray constantly circled around Darkseid's body, filling the space around him with wildly twisting beams of light.
One of the top ten powers in the universe had actually been used as a defensive weapon in his hands.
That was probably the pressure Heisenberg had put on him!
On the other side, Heisenberg looked at Darkseid charging toward him wrapped in Omega Ray and sighed helplessly.
He had lost a perfect chance to kill Darkseid outright. There was nothing to be done—they would probably remain locked in a stalemate for a long time!
