Watching the three old men laugh so happily, Heisenberg started laughing too.
As he laughed, he rubbed X-23's head in his arms.
"Remember, you can learn from their life experience. These old guys know how to live far better than you do.
But whatever you do, don't learn the stupidity they carry around.
If you do, you won't be yourself anymore!"
"Really?"
X-23 looked somewhat confused as she listened to Heisenberg.
"If I learn from them and stop being myself, then who would I be?"
"You'd be a goofball, or an idiot..."
Heisenberg immediately burst out laughing and set X-23 aside.
After sending X-23 back to be with her companions, Heisenberg grilled meat while watching the old professor teach the children all kinds of knowledge.
Although Professor X had never done a lick of housework in the first half of his life,
with more than seven degrees under his belt, he knew very well how to survive in an environment with nothing.
Before long, the old professor had the children use their plant-controlling Mutant Abilities to shape trees and weeds into all sorts of forms.
Using pig bones and other sturdy materials, he directly cultivated the accelerated-growth trees into beds, tables, and chairs.
Then he gathered further-grown tender vines and grass stalks, having the children who played with fire dry them out.
Before long, all 122 mutant children had beds of their own.
Next, the old professor was the first to teach everyone how to weave clothing.
After all, the old professor could see that although they were all children and had never received any education about the sexes,
the older children would inevitably be stirred by the bodies of the opposite sex.
Thus, making sure all the children wore simple clothes was what Charles needed to do next.
