Whoosh!
Clang!
With a crisp ring, the grappling hook tore through the sky.
The world of Watchmen looked highly scientific.
Yet it had superheroes who could naturally grow stronger without drugs.
It also had Doctor Manhattan, who became omnipotent after dying once.
And it had Rorschach's miraculous grappling hook!
The hook looked ordinary, but it was exceptionally special. Not only was it powerful, but the rope hidden within it was extraordinarily long.
A mere thirty stories was nothing. In an instant, the hook caught onto the shattered window frame.
Right by Heisenberg's feet, the hook clamped tightly onto the window frame while Rorschach climbed rapidly along its rope.
Under the moonlight, Rorschach's pitch-black figure rose swiftly. The next second, he kicked off the glass, flipped over, and leaped directly into Joker's room.
The instant he landed, Rorschach took a deep breath and abruptly looked beside him!
Heisenberg stood right there beside him, studying Rorschach thoughtfully.
But Rorschach could see nothing.
Even so, though he could not see anything, Rorschach instinctively frowned.
"I... feel something unusual, but I can't prove it.
"It's as though someone else is watching me!"
Rorschach spoke quietly as he took two small steps back.
As he retreated, Rorschach suddenly reeled in his grappling hook, then fired it once more toward Heisenberg's position!
Facing the incoming hook, Heisenberg did not move, allowing it to pass straight through his body.
If he wished, even Doctor Manhattan would not easily be able to find him in this world.
Yet despite that, Rorschach had actually sensed his presence through instinct alone.
Heisenberg's face filled with admiration. As expected of the sole explorer and Watchman in the entire Watchmen world who had seen through every detail of the story and recorded it all in his journal!
Of course, no matter how
