Ch. 362Teaching Them a Lesson

Apocalypse abducted Charles after overpowering him, and the ensuing blast destroyed Xavier’s Institute, though Heisenberg rescued everyone else and contained the explosion. He offered the displaced children a place at his Berlin castle, then summoned the Hellfire Club to bring Charles and the Institute’s children into the fold, leaving Hank to realize Heisenberg was the White King he had been investigating.

  • Apocalypse searched Charles’s mind for Heisenberg, then seized Charles and teleported away while Alex’s Havok blast struck Cerebro.

  • Heisenberg rescued the people inside the castle and compressed the spreading fire and debris, while Hank and Alex explained that Apocalypse had taken Charles.
  • Heisenberg offered the children shelter at his Berlin castle and promised to arrange their transport.
  • In Berlin, Heisenberg summoned Erik, Raven, Psylocke, Red Devil, and other Hellfire Club members to help Charles and recruit the Institute’s children.
  • The Hellfire Club appeared beside Heisenberg at the ruined Institute, and Hank realized Heisenberg was the White King.

Ch. 363Drawing a Prison Around Oneself

After Xavier's Institute was destroyed and Charles was taken, Heisenberg left Magneto and the others to arrange shelter and rescue plans while he and Gannata prepared a trap for the Phoenix fragment in Cairo. Heisenberg outfitted Gannata's devices with fragments of the Life and Anti-Life Equations, but their power overwhelmed her briefly.

  • Magneto, Mystique, Red Devil, and the Hellfire Club arrived at the ruined Institute, where Magneto mourned the destruction and Heisenberg directed him to help the children.
  • Mystique reassured the children that the Hellfire Club would shelter them, and she and Red Devil began moving them to Berlin Zoo.
  • Heisenberg left Magneto in charge of the Institute's relocation, while Jean decided to help rescue Charles and joined Magneto's group.
  • Heisenberg and Gannata traveled to Cairo, where he carved runes and equation fragments into her particle disintegration devices to build a layered trap for the Phoenix fragment.
  • Gannata was briefly overwhelmed by the equations, and Heisenberg explained that their trap would block Phoenix's access to energy and isolate it before they fought it directly.

Ch. 364Gathering in Cairo

Heisenberg and Gannata prepared a trap for Phoenix while Magneto's group learned that Apocalypse had taken Charles and went to Cairo to rescue him. Apocalypse transformed Charles into a controlled psychic servant and rebuilt his palace in Cairo, where Magneto's group confronted him as Heisenberg and Gannata watched from above, ready to steer the fight.

  • Heisenberg explained that his and Gannata's preparations would limit Phoenix's energy output, and they sealed a large area with devices and Omega runes.

  • Hank identified Apocalypse as Charles's captor, and Magneto gathered Jean, Emma, Hank, and Alex to find and rescue Charles.
  • Caliban directed Magneto's group to the news, which showed Apocalypse rebuilding a massive palace in Cairo.
  • Apocalypse empowered Charles, took control of his mind, and ordered him to locate Cairo's mutants before teleporting them away.
  • Magneto's group arrived in Cairo to confront Apocalypse, while Heisenberg and Gannata watched and agreed to ensure Apocalypse played his part.

Ch. 365The Tide Turns

Apocalypse returned Charles to Magneto after Magneto invoked the White King's rules, but Charles remained under Apocalypse's control until Emma noticed and demanded he release it. Once free, Charles accused Apocalypse of destroying Cairo and killing its residents, while Magneto and the Hellfire Club refused to challenge Apocalypse, leaving Charles and Erik arguing over ordinary people's lives.

  • Magneto confronted Apocalypse over Charles's capture, and Apocalypse returned Charles to him after recalling the White King's power.
  • Emma recognized that Charles was still controlled by Apocalypse, so Apocalypse released his hold and Charles told Magneto how powerful Apocalypse was.
  • Golden Wolf teased Quicksilver about Magneto and Charles's close relationship before Magneto placed Charles in a newly made wheelchair.
  • Charles accused Apocalypse of destroying Cairo and killing millions, but Magneto accepted Apocalypse's explanation and apology on the Hellfire Club's behalf.
  • Charles condemned Magneto for disregarding the dead, and the two argued over whether ordinary people were their kind or destined enemies.

Ch. 366President: I Bombed Myself?

Erik accepted Apocalypse’s invitation to celebrate his rebuilt palace, while Charles urged the mutants to fight him. As Apocalypse transported the White House to Cairo, Reagan launched nuclear missiles at the city and realized they could not be stopped.

  • Erik silenced Charles and accepted Apocalypse’s invitation, bringing the Hellfire Club into the palace.
  • Heisenberg and Gannata watched the unexpected truce and decided to wait overnight before provoking Charles.
  • Apocalypse spread his power across Earth, learned of Erik’s hatred for Washington, and proposed enslaving the White House’s occupants.
  • Apocalypse moved the White House and its surrounding land to Cairo, shocking the Hellfire Club.
  • Reagan ordered a nuclear strike after seeing footage of Cairo and the mutants, then watched the missiles launch.
  • Reagan saw Cairo outside the White House windows and realized the missiles were aimed at the city and could not be stopped.

Ch. 367Heisenberg Takes the Stage

Apocalypse teleported Washington and its people to Cairo, then entertained Magneto by humiliating the president and his officials while enslaving them. Heisenberg and Gannata watched their plan to provoke Jean falter, and Heisenberg decided they would join the banquet and seek another chance to hunt the Phoenix.

  • Apocalypse transported the land and people around the White House to Cairo, then brought the president and other officials into his palace and changed their clothes into maid outfits at Magneto's suggestion.
  • Apocalypse let Ororo kill the Secretary of Defense to enforce his orders, while Emma took Jean and the other women to the palace's bathing and beauty facilities.
  • Emma told Jean she wanted to become Heisenberg's wife and teased Psylocke and Mystique about their attraction to him, calming Jean before she could lose control.
  • Heisenberg and Gannata watched Jean's anger subside, then Heisenberg decided to join the banquet and wait for another opportunity to pursue the Phoenix.

Ch. 368Do We Need Evidence?

Heisenberg joined Apocalypse, Magneto, and the others at a banquet in Apocalypse’s palace, where Apocalypse offered to strengthen their powers. When a nuclear missile targeted the palace, Apocalypse destroyed it and asked Heisenberg’s permission to retaliate against Japan, leaving Charles protesting that Japan had not been proven responsible.

  • Gannata brought Heisenberg to Apocalypse’s palace, where Apocalypse ordered Reagan and other U.S. leaders to serve as banquet staff.

  • Charles spotted a falling nuclear missile, and Magneto said it was designed to evade his control; Apocalypse turned it to powder.
  • Apocalypse demanded to know who had launched the nuclear weapons, but Charles refused to endorse retaliation against innocent people.
  • Apocalypse asked Heisenberg for permission to destroy a city in the country responsible, and Heisenberg said he disliked Japan; Charles objected that Japan’s guilt had not been established.

Ch. 369Fucking Yasukuni Shrine!

Apocalypse argued that humanity had no right to deny him the land he was reclaiming and persuaded the others to choose Tokyo as the target of his retaliation. He promised to announce the plan and spare time for evacuations, then offered to enhance Emma and the others so they could locate Awakened people in Tokyo, leaving Emma confused about whether he truly intended to destroy the city and Yasukuni Shrine.

  • Apocalypse challenged Charles to defend humanity's actions and used Reagan's memories to reveal that Reagan himself had authorized the nuclear strike on Cairo.
  • Gambit, Quicksilver, Red Devil, and Wolverine chose Japan over the United States as the target, and Apocalypse promised to destroy Tokyo by the following night while allowing Wolverine to evacuate his friends.
  • Heisenberg approved Apocalypse's plan so long as no Awakened were harmed, and Apocalypse toasted him and condemned Reagan for lying.
  • Emma arrived with Jean and other young women, objected to Heisenberg's attempted subject change, and refused to help identify Awakened people across Tokyo.
  • Apocalypse offered to enhance Emma and the others so they could locate their compatriots before Tokyo's destruction, and Emma questioned whether he was serious about destroying Tokyo and Yasukuni Shrine.

Ch. 370Let Me Help You, Jean!

Apocalypse enhanced Emma’s powers, then used her worldwide telepathy to announce that he would destroy Tokyo in half an hour. When Apocalypse began enhancing Jean, he discovered a terrifying power within her that erupted in crimson flames, prompting Heisenberg and Gannata to prepare for battle.

  • Apocalypse enhanced Emma, letting her transform nearby matter into diamond and extend her psychic reach across the globe.

  • Heisenberg and Gannata recognized the emergence of a powerful threat and moved into combat readiness.

Ch. 371Apocalypse: What Did I Do Wrong? I'll Change!

Heisenberg and Gannata trapped the Phoenix fragment erupting through Jean Grey, using Apocalypse as bait and sealing a vast area around Cairo to cut off the Phoenix’s energy supply. Jean had surrendered control to the Phoenix and watched from within herself as Heisenberg prepared to fight it in a space isolated from the universe.

  • Jean’s Phoenix Force overwhelmed Apocalypse, while Magneto, Red Devil, and Gambit failed to free him or stop the spreading energy.
  • Heisenberg and Gannata arrived in combat armor, and Heisenberg tore Apocalypse free and sent him to Gannata, who ordered Red Devil to evacuate everyone else.
  • Heisenberg held Jean and urged her to let the Phoenix take control while she watched from within herself; the Phoenix then burst out and blasted Heisenberg with energy.
  • Gannata tore Apocalypse apart and forced him to produce thousands of duplicates, while Heisenberg used Apocalypse’s severed arm to provoke the Phoenix.
  • Heisenberg and Gannata established four energy pillars and sealed a cube-shaped area around Cairo, removing its life, matter, and energy and cutting off the Phoenix’s means of replenishment.

Ch. 372You Unfilial Brat!!!

Heisenberg and Gannata battled Phoenix in a sealed space while Charles and the others watched Cairo vanish from satellite feeds. Gannata summoned Galactus to confront Phoenix’s enormous projection, and the chapter ended as the two cosmic figures collided and disappeared.

  • Gannata used her devouring power to counter Phoenix’s crimson energy while Heisenberg charged Phoenix under an artificial sun and punched her across the space.
  • Charles and the others saw the second sun over Cairo and realized the city and the people Apocalypse had transported there had disappeared.
  • Heisenberg tore off Phoenix’s head, then used the Life Equation and Anti-Life Equation to disrupt her control of her body.
  • Gannata accidentally lifted Apocalypse’s main body instead of a clone, then threw a clone toward Heisenberg as he fought Phoenix.
  • Phoenix manifested a massive crimson projection, and Gannata summoned Galactus, whose projection collided with Phoenix’s before both vanished.

Ch. 373Gwen Must Not Die!

Heisenberg and Gannata separated the Phoenix Fragment from Jean Grey and sent it through portals to other universes. After one portal dropped them into Manhattan and destroyed much of the city, Heisenberg caught the falling Gwen before Peter could reach her.

  • Heisenberg and Gannata exhausted Phoenix by repeatedly throwing Apocalypse at her, then restrained her while Gannata attacked the Phoenix consciousness.
  • Heisenberg punched the Phoenix Fragment out of Jean Grey, and Gannata captured part of it before Heisenberg returned Jean to Berlin.
  • Heisenberg swallowed the Phoenix Fragment, and he and Gannata opened a multiverse portal to send it away inside a small sun.
  • The portal brought Heisenberg and Gannata to Manhattan, where the sun vaporized much of the city as Electro fled and Peter rushed to save Gwen.
  • Heisenberg appeared beside the falling Gwen and told her to trust his arms instead of Little Spider's.

Ch. 374Iron Fist Wu Fengji

Heisenberg saved Gwen from falling, then left with Gannata and Phoenix after revealing that he had accidentally entered her universe. In another universe’s ancient past, Iron Fist Wu Fengji confronted them, believing Phoenix had found a host there.

  • Heisenberg caught Gwen in midair, carried her to a rooftop, and kissed her cheek before flying away with Phoenix through a dimensional portal.
  • Gwen reunited with Peter, but he left to help New York after hearing about the disaster; she went home and decided she did not want the life of a hero’s girlfriend.
  • Gannata teased Heisenberg for kissing Gwen as they traveled through the dimensional rift and emerged in Earth’s ancient past.
  • The Jade Emperor told Fengji that her Iron Fist power was the strongest in history and sent her west to face the crisis awaiting her in Great Britain.
  • Heisenberg and Gannata realized Phoenix had stabilized after finding a suitable host, then met Iron Fist Wu Fengji, who greeted them and prepared to confront them.

Ch. 375Barbarian God, I Will Kill You!

Heisenberg and Gannata encountered Wu Fengji, who absorbed the Phoenix Force and vowed to kill him after he cut off a lock of her hair and turned it into a powerful binding cord. Back in Cairo, Heisenberg erased Wu Fengji’s memories of him and Gannata, then demanded Gannata hand over her devouring power.

  • Heisenberg introduced himself to Wu Fengji, who denounced him and Gannata as heathen and demoness before attacking Phoenix with her Iron Fist.
  • Phoenix shattered into fragments and entered Wu Fengji, who sat down to force the Phoenix Force and Dragon Power into submission.
  • Heisenberg disrupted the powers shielding Wu Fengji, cut off a lock of her hair, and infused it with Phoenix Force to create a cord capable of binding a multiverse.
  • Wu Fengji swore to kill Heisenberg, and Gannata opened a passage that took them back to Cairo.
  • Gannata said Wu Fengji had long searched across universes for two important people and suspected they were Heisenberg and herself; Heisenberg paid the system to erase Wu Fengji’s memories of them.
  • Heisenberg told Gannata he would seek Wu Fengji out when he was stronger, then demanded that she give him her devouring power.

Ch. 376Dalian Style City

Heisenberg gained Gannata’s Devouring Authority, then returned to Berlin and declared Jean safe from the Phoenix power. He recruited Apocalypse, ordered Magneto to destroy Tokyo and rebuild it as a Dalian Style City, and warned Charles that war between humanity and the Awakened was inevitable.

  • Gannata gave Heisenberg the code for her Devouring Authority, and he absorbed it while discussing their plans to study the Phoenix Force and the Life and Anti-Life Equations.
  • Heisenberg returned to Berlin, found Jean asleep underground, and told the others that he had resolved the power inside her.

Ch. 377Tokyo Falls

Heisenberg returned to his divine kingdom after ordering Magneto and the others to pursue their objective, while Charles remained opposed to their plans. Magneto destroyed Tokyo and transformed its ruins into a metal city, leaving Japan facing a new reality.

  • Heisenberg rebuked Charles for trusting in peace and instructed Magneto to teach him about the Awakened's struggle, then assigned Apocalypse, Emma, Remy, Logan, Pietro, and Azazel to complete their objective.
  • Heisenberg returned to Mogo, asked the planet to guard the divine kingdom, and learned that Clark was troubled by his experiences in Gods' Graveyard.
  • Barry managed a crowd of warriors entering Resident Evil, where the visitors had made zombies rare and Wesker and his companions ran milk tea shops.
  • Magneto persuaded Charles that the Awakened had to seize control of humanity, and Apocalypse enhanced Magneto's powers before Magneto and Azazel left for Japan.
  • After Tokyo residents returned when the threatened destruction did not immediately happen, looting and protests erupted across the city.
  • Magneto tore apart Tokyo with a torrent of metal and spent the following half day replacing it with a city forged from metal.

Ch. 378Mutant Endgame and a New World

After Magneto and the Hellfire Club took control of the world in three days, Heisenberg remained missing from their universe while analyzing the Phoenix Fragment in his Divine Kingdom. When Diana Prince lost contact in a newly explored world, Heisenberg set out to find her and learned that Mera had also been missing for a long time.

  • Magneto returned from destroying Tokyo and proposed destroying the world's nuclear weapons and firearms while Emma and Charles controlled humanity to prevent mass chaos.
  • Emma and Charles agreed to work together, and the Hellfire Club took control of the world within three days, but its members could find no trace of Heisenberg.
  • Heisenberg continued analyzing the Phoenix Fragment until Bach told him that Diana Prince's signal had disappeared in a new world.
  • Heisenberg spoke with Kid Flash, who said his father had been freed and explained why he was content guarding the Infinity Tower.
  • Kid Flash told Heisenberg that Mera had also been missing during her exploration, and Heisenberg entered Diana's world to search for her.

Ch. 379I Will Never Reconcile with Zeus

Heisenberg entered the Greek mythological world through the Infinity Gate and met Aristotle in an Athens bathhouse. After spotting Hera on Olympus, he learned that Diana was there and that she would face Ares in a sacred duel in fifteen days.

  • Heisenberg appeared in an Athens bathhouse wearing the Abyss Armor, then removed it and met Aristotle.
  • Heisenberg introduced himself to Aristotle and spoke with him while Aristotle recorded his words.
  • Heisenberg saw Helios driving the sun and sensed the immense scale of the mythological world, including Olympus.
  • Hera noticed Heisenberg watching Olympus and recognized him as the foreign god Diana had mentioned.
  • Heisenberg asked Hera about Diana, and Hera said she would spare her but declared that Ares would fight her in Athens' Olympic Grand Arena fifteen days later.
  • Hera returned to her couch, furious at Zeus and his children, and affirmed that she would never reconcile with Zeus.

Ch. 380Hera, Queen of Gods

Heisenberg visited Hera on Olympus to learn what had happened to Diana and discovered that she was sentenced to a death duel with Ares. Hera explained that Diana had taken part of Helios’s divine office and was punished after insulting Ares, leaving Heisenberg to face the coming duel.

  • Hera angrily demanded to know why Heisenberg had sent Diana to Olympus and whether he wanted war, but Heisenberg said he only wanted Diana safe.
  • Heisenberg used the Bifrost to enter Hera’s palace, helped himself to her wine and pastries, and persuaded her to drink Asgardian liquor with him.
  • Hera described how Helios had stormed into her palace after sensing a new divine power taking his authority over light and flame.
  • Hera said the Olympians traced that power to Diana in Sparta and found that Diana’s armor carried blessings from several gods.
  • Hera explained that Diana had to duel Ares after stealing part of Helios’s divine office and instinctively insulting Ares, with death as the duel’s only conclusion.

Ch. 381Sweet Talk, Barbarian~

Heisenberg listened as Hera explained her resentment over Diana’s divine blessings and the other gods’ betrayal, then comforted her about her painful marriage to Zeus. The drunken conversation ended with Heisenberg promising to protect Hera from Zeus, leaving her flustered by his “sweet talk.”

  • Hera argued that Diana was too inexperienced to defeat Ares and listed the blessings Diana had received from six principal gods.
  • Hera confessed that she hated Diana because the gods had concealed those blessings from her, and she recalled how Zeus and the other gods had humiliated and abandoned her.
  • Hera asked Heisenberg whether she was unworthy of respect, then cried as she compared his patience with Zeus’s refusal to listen.
  • After they drank in silence, Hera asked whether Diana was Heisenberg’s woman, and Heisenberg explained that he had never been married.
  • Heisenberg took Hera’s hand, and Hera sensed that he bore no marriage bond before drunkenly warning him that Zeus would punish them both.
  • Heisenberg promised that Zeus would never harm or humiliate Hera again unless Heisenberg died, and Hera blushed and called his words glib talk.
