Suddenly, a flash of light appeared. Array patterns emerged, and two people and a stone stepped out through the spatial gate within them.
They were Hua Yunfei, Nangong Xiangtian, and Shi Zhàndì.
"This is the border of our Vast Universe. If you want to go to a neighboring Great Universe, this is one way to do it," Nangong Xiangtian said.
Ahead of them, the void was pitch-black, space sealed off, and mist obscured their vision. There was clearly no road forward. If they forced their way through, they might touch the Great Dao's laws and risk being wiped out.
"Force open a passage and charge through?" Hua Yunfei asked, gazing ahead.
Those Great Dao laws posed no threat to him now. If they forced their way through and knew the right direction, he could fight his way across.
"Exactly. The Vast Universe is incredibly powerful, one of the strongest among all the Great Universes. The Great Dao is also very fair. Cultivators from the Vast Universe need to reach at least the Quasi-Immortal Emperor level before they qualify to visit other Great Universes."
Nangong Xiangtian pointed toward the pitch-black void laws ahead. "Otherwise, those void laws alone can wipe out any cultivator below the Quasi-Immortal Emperor realm."
Shi Zhàndì raised an eyebrow. "Is this meant to protect the other Great Universes, to stop cultivators from the Vast Universe from invading and laying waste to them?"
Nangong Xiangtian clasped his hands behind his back, looking dashing and unrestrained. "That's part of it. But cultivators from our Vast Universe aren't all that interested in the other Great Universes."
