Looking at Jiang Ruoyao and Silly Girl standing beside Hua Yunfei, the Tianji Peak Ancestor smiled and nodded. "Good, good."
He turned to Hua Yunfei. "You're all grown up now. You should leave an heir for Dao Origin Peak, or those old fellows on your peak will really start to panic."
Hua Yunfei smiled wryly. "I'll do my best."
"Don't say you'll do your best. Say you'll work hard." The Tianji Peak Ancestor grinned at Jiang Ruoyao. "Girl, don't you agree?"
"What does that have to do with me?" Jiang Ruoyao frowned.
"Don't you want to have a big, chubby boy with him?" the Tianji Peak Ancestor said with a crooked smile.
"I don't." Jiang Ruoyao snorted. "Why would I have a child with someone I can't stand?"
"You can't stand him, yet you're still following him?" the Tianji Peak Ancestor asked.
"I just want to get to the bottom of a few things." Jiang Ruoyao found the Tianji Peak Ancestor's gaze annoying. He looked inscrutable, but there was something sleazy about him. At a glance, he seemed like no good.
"You sure know how to make excuses. Heh." The Tianji Peak Ancestor chuckled.
Jiang Ruoyao didn't want to deal with the old man anymore.
"All right, Ancestor. Stop teasing her," Hua Yunfei said. "Please send us back to the Dark World."
"Very well." The Tianji Peak Ancestor nodded cheerfully.
With a wave of his hand, he opened a passage. "Go on. This old ancestor should head back and get some rest, too."
"Thank you, Ancestor. Sorry for the trouble." Hua Yunfei cupped his fists.
"We're family. No need to be polite."
The Tianji Peak Ancestor waved his hand.
