"I am a big deal. Got a problem with that?" the Venerable Lord shot back. He didn't rein himself in at all—in fact, he grew even more blunt and domineering.
"Fine, fine, you win. You're a First Generation Being, and the greatest of them all. Who could possibly measure up to you?" The Nether Lord pursed his lips, sounding rather helpless.
"Even if I weren't a First Generation Being, I would still climb to the very peak. You've underestimated me, and you've made my path sound far too easy," the Venerable Lord said.
"You mentioned it once before, but didn't go into detail. Back in the earliest era, you contended against a whole group of First Generation Beings. Even you must've felt some pressure, right?" the Nether Lord asked curiously.
