In the starry sky outside the Giant Deer Great World, An Ning appeared with Xia Qiuer, still holding her in the same position as before.
"I came here to use you to force Hua Yunfei to show himself. Tell me, if something happened to you, would he really come?" An Ning asked.
"He would." Xia Qiuer's answer was simple.
"So confident? What if he doesn't want to show up? After all, he's been gone for nearly two thousand years." An Ning tried to unsettle Xia Qiuer.
"I don't want him to come, but with his personality, he'll definitely show up. I can't stop him," Xia Qiuer said.
If their opponent had been a super-strong enemy, Xia Qiuer certainly wouldn't have wanted Hua Yunfei to come, for fear he might be in danger—even if he only shed a drop of blood.
But she knew that Hua Yunfei was a man who valued affection. When it came to protecting those he cared about, he would appear no matter how dangerous the enemy was.
