A Bronze Ancient Coffin lay here, as immense as a mountain, covered in rust and radiating a chilling, sinister cold.
Nine bronze chains were connected to the Bronze Ancient Coffin, their other ends stretching in nine directions, suspending it here forever.
The river water in this region seemed even colder and more terrifying. No one had come near it for countless epochs; even unconscious Black Nether Beings would be drawn away by some inexplicable force.
Boom!
At that moment, knocking sounds unexpectedly came from within the Bronze Ancient Coffin, which had lain silent for who knew how many years. It was eerie and utterly without warning.
Rumble!
After the knocking, the coffin lid began to tremble, the movements growing increasingly violent. The next instant, one corner of the lid was lifted, and a massive hand suddenly reached out.
That hand was covered in red and green corpse hair and gave off a shocking stench. Yet its skin was not rotten, only an unhealthy pale.
The coffin lid was pushed aside, and the owner of the hand sat up from within the Bronze Ancient Coffin. Black hair covered his face, while corpse hair covered his body, face, nostrils, ear hollows, and more. It was grotesque, accompanied by a foul stench that rushed up one's nose.
"The power of the Black Underworld River has seeped in again." The owner of the hand looked at the corpse hair on his body, frowning as he muttered hoarsely.
He was greatly surprised. With his physical body, such a mutation should never have occurred. It could only mean that the measures he had left behind had still failed to evade the river water's prolonged erosion and had been contaminated.
The owner of the hand swept
