Putting away the white Pure Bottle, Hua Yunfei turned to look at the Eerie Ghost Shadow, his brows knitting slightly.

The Eerie Ghost Shadow was even stronger than he had imagined. Only with the Soul-Slaying Saber could he barely suppress it. Without the saber, the outcome would have been hard to predict.

And he was also wearing the Mitian Armor, whose defensive power was terrifying. Yet even so, the Eerie Ghost Shadow could keep fighting him.

Though part of the reason was that he didn't want to truly injure the Eerie Ghost Shadow just yet, it was still clear just how powerful it was.

Not only that, at times it could wield even greater power. It seemed the strength within its remnant soul was far from exhausted; it was very likely being restrained.

"I can't hesitate any longer!"

Hua Yunfei gripped the Soul-Slaying Saber tightly and cleared his mind of distractions. Whether or not the Eerie Ghost Shadow had any connection to the person he knew, he needed to subdue it first.

But just then, the scarlet mist within Skull Star began to disappear. All the Eerie Rules gradually faded away, and everything seemed to return to normal.

The Eerie Ghost Shadow had also calmed down. Its killing intent was gone, and it repeated those same words.

It turned and walked into the distance.

Hua Yunfei thought it over and chose not to attack. Instead, he followed behind the Eerie Ghost Shadow, wanting to see where it was going.

After Hua Yunfei followed the Eerie Ghost Shadow away, Lei Zu led everyone inside the great cauldron away from Skull Star.

Though the eerie presence had vanished and the Eerie Ghost Shadow had left, it was still best to leave first in case anything unexpected happened. They could make
