Within the Forge God Mountain Range, the early morning fog was exceptionally thick. Milky-white mist draped over the entire forest like a light veil.
Visibility here was extremely low. Anything more than a few meters away was impossible to see clearly, and even sunlight struggled to penetrate the dense fog, leaving only faint light spots within it.
At this moment, several Soul Masters were hurriedly weaving through the forest amid the pervasive mist.
Their footsteps landed on falling leaves, and the faint sounds they made were quickly swallowed by the surrounding fog. Only their heavy breathing echoed through the woods.
Two men and one woman raced through the fog-shrouded forest. Rather than "running," however, they were really fleeing for their lives.
Looking closely, their clothes were damaged to varying degrees, and their faces were filled with exhaustion. Even their Soul Power fluctuations were unusually chaotic.
Clearly, the three of them were not in good condition.
"Pant, pant..."
The middle-aged man at the front gasped heavily as he occasionally looked back over his shoulder, his eyes full of vigilance.
This time, when he looked back, he saw only his two teammates following closely behind him. There was no sign of their pursuers, and his taut nerves relaxed slightly.
Suddenly, the middle-aged man came to an abrupt halt. The young man and woman behind him stopped as well, nearly crashing into him.
