Aura!
Yes! Nawa's aura!
Although aura was something intangible, it was also the most direct thing! Whether a person would achieve anything, or rather, the first impression they gave others, was all related to their aura.
The way one carried oneself, spoke, chatted, and so on—the tone of voice, movements, expressions—all of it could sum up a person's aura. Some people were open and confident, while others were timid and submissive. These were all outward displays of aura.
Although Nawa was only a squad captain, in reality, he merely managed a dozen or so Ordinary People. His status was not particularly high.
Yet the aura—or rather, the feeling—Nawa displayed now was incredibly surprising. Or rather, Nawa no longer seemed like a timid, submissive ordinary person, but an existence on the same level as them. In the past, whenever they met, Nawa would always lower himself. Every ordinary person here showed such respect toward transcendents.
But now, Nawa was looking at everyone with an equal gaze. Yes, an equal gaze, and it made them all extremely uncomfortable. Why did everyone here train so hard? One had to know that the people currently in the training ground had already entered the ranks of Martial Artists. Even the weakest among them possessed the strength of the Houtian First Layer.
In the past, whenever these transcendents went out, Ordinary People did not even dare look them in the eye. They spoke cautiously and became extremely respectful the moment they encountered them. To these transcendents, if they were displeased, they could casually destroy an ordinary person, and the organization would not say anything.
As the saying went,
